My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal oriented approach that targets negative thought patterns and behaviors. I have consistently witnessed growth in 30-60 days with clients who implement the interventions that I recommend to encourage positive cognitive restructuring and improvements in behavior. This modality is highly effective for someone who has endured childhood trauma that has caused disruptions within their adult life and they are open to welcoming a new reality that feels safe and productive.

EMDR

I am currently working towards completing my EMDR certification but I implement trauma focused therapy approaches to assist those who have battled with disturbances with trauma. EMDR has been identified to be an effective treatment method for those suffering from PTSD, childhood trauma, anxiety, managing responses to chronic illness, depression and creates a healthy space to practice mindfulness and bilateral stimulation through various techniques.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT truly has helped my clients develop effective emotional regulation skills to decrease negative responses or behaviors. EFT is supported by substantial research evidence demonstrating its effectiveness, particularly in treating couples and individuals with trauma histories, depression, and anxiety. EFT assists my clients with developing effective calming and coping strategies that can assist them in reducing negative focus on their emotions within 60-90 days of consistent use. Clients have responded well to this treatment modality and have often been able to totally transform how they feel, think and behave.
