I am a warm, empathetic and inquisitive therapist who values collaboration and authenticity in the therapeutic relationship. I enjoy partnering with clients to deepen self-awareness and to better understand the root causes of maladaptive symptoms, as well as recurring thought and behavior patterns. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. My role is to walk alongside you—offering curiosity, compassion, and clinical insight as you move toward greater clarity and healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment during their first session. We will focus on building rapport, exploring what brings you to therapy, and identifying your goals at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I strive to affirm your experiences while helping you begin to make sense of patterns that may be contributing to distress. You can expect a clinician who will walk alongside you, support you in increasing your capacity for self-compassion and self-care, and help you strengthen your ability to engage in healthy, meaningful relationships.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a calm, emotionally safe space where clients feel heard and understood. I actively listen beyond words — paying attention to patterns, emotions, and underlying themes — which allows me to respond with empathy and thoughtful insight. I also bring a strong investigative and analytical lens to therapy. I naturally help clients connect dots between past experiences, current triggers, and relational patterns, fostering deeper self-awareness and meaningful change. Another strength is my balance of warmth and structure. I offer compassion and affirmation while also providing practical tools, psycho-education, and accountability to support progress. Above all, I am deeply committed to helping clients grow in self-understanding, resilience, and healthy connection.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted, often carrying anxiety, stress, trauma, or unresolved relational patterns. They may notice recurring thoughts or behaviors that no longer serve them and feel ready to better understand themselves at a deeper level. They are seeking clarity, emotional balance, and healthier relationships, and want support in learning how to care for themselves with greater compassion while creating meaningful and lasting change.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

When requested, I use Christian counseling to integrate biblical principles, prayer and faith-based understanding into the therapeutic process. I use Christian counseling to honor my client’s spiritual worldview as a central component of their identity, resilience, and healing.

Psychoeducation

I use psycho-education to empower my clients through knowledge. I use this tool to reduce shame and increase insight by helping my clients understand symptoms, diagnoses, trauma responses, attachment patterns, and nervous system functioning.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to focus on the connection between my client's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I utilize this treatment method to collaborate with my clients in identifying and restructuring maladaptive thought patterns that are contributing to their emotional distress.

Psychodynamic

I utilize Psychodynamic therapy to explore how my client's early relational experiences, unconscious processes, and attachment patterns influence current behavior, emotional responses, and relationships.

Mind-body approach

I utilize the mind-body approach to aid my clients in recognizing that emotional experiences are stored in the body and that nervous system regulation is foundational to healing. I use this approach to integrate physiological awareness with emotional processing.
