(she/her)
I believe that each client is unique and that one therapy does not fit all. I try to meet the client where they are at. I have experience in different types of trauma from a clinical standpoint and personal experience. I have a sense of humor, I believe laughter can be the best medicine sometimes. The most important part of any therapy is client/therapist compatibility. It helps both with treatment goals.
I would like to listen to what is bothering my client at the present time. we can delve into history if and when needed.
My greatest strength is my ability to be real and yet non judgmental.
Clients who are sex abuse survivors, People with sexual behavior issues, PTSD and Complex PTSD. Clients who have issues with grief of any kind. Behavioral addictions, Bi-polar disorder, loneliness, senior issues, and more.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy
This treatment is more straightforward and deals with cognitive distortions like CBT does but with a behavioral component. I use it with other integrative therapies to teach how a belief system may be detrimental to the problem.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Teaching thinking errors that can cause anxiety or a thought pattern that can be detrimental to healing.
Existential
This is more of a philosophy that humanizes client and therapist cohesion. Building rapport and understanding the client's philosophy on things help build better treatment
Grief Therapy
Grief is complicated and is individualized. It is used to understand and help people dealing with multiple reasons for grief
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Being mindful and in the present helps people understand how to worry less about the past and future and grounds them in the present. It helps with slowing the thought process to come up with solutions.
