LMFT, 5 years of experience
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Georgia. I received my Masters from Northcentral University and have been practicing for 5 years. I help children, adolescents, and teenagers with the struggles that young people face as they navigate through their young lives. I also help adults, couples, and families develop positive skills that can aid them in developing and maintaining healthy and positive relationships.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions. Next we will discuss what specific challenges you're facing and how those struggles are impacting your life. This will help us create a tailored plan for us to work through during the follow-up sessions.
Having worked with youth for the past 4 years, I've developed several creative interventions that have aided the youth with developing positive coping skills and improvement of communication skills. Once we identify the root cause of your challenges we can create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I love working with youth who developing their own personality and beginning to focus on what the rest of their lives will look like. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel overwhelmed by the challenges they face and are searching for skills that can build resiliency.

Kim has been a wonderful therapist. I was nervous about leaving my previous provider and finding someone new, and Kim was very warm and accepting. She challenges me and provides realistic coping strategies while holding space for me during our sessions.
