LCSW, 10 years of experience
New to Grow
I’m a licensed social worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families through a wide range of life challenges. For the past 5+ years, I’ve had the honor of serving those connected to the U.S. Air Force, providing culturally competent care and guidance tailored to the unique needs of military members and their families. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a strong belief in people’s capacity for growth and resilience. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify strengths, set meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies for lasting change. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, managing stress, or seeking support for emotional wellness, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach, drawing from evidence-based practices while tailoring each experience to meet your individual needs. My goal isn’t to “fix” you—because you’re not broken—but to help you uncover tools, insight, and confidence already within you. No matter where you’re starting from, I’m here to support your journey forward.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step—but our first session is really just a conversation. There’s no pressure to have the “right” words or to share everything at once. We’ll simply start by talking about what’s been going on in your life, what led you to seek support, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. You can expect a relaxed, judgment-free space where you can be yourself. Think of it less like an interview and more like a thoughtful conversation focused on you. We’ll go at your pace and talk about what feels most important to you. I’ll also explain a bit about how I work, what you can expect from therapy, and go over things like confidentiality and boundaries so you feel informed and supported from the start. If you're not quite sure what your goals are yet—that's okay. We’ll figure that out together. Above all, my goal is to make that first meeting feel comfortable, respectful, and grounded in trust. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just showing up is an important first step.
I bring a calm, collaborative presence to the work I do. I’m especially skilled at helping individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about where to begin. My greatest strength is creating a space where people feel respected, supported, and genuinely understood. I approach each person as an individual—there are no one-size-fits-all solutions here. Instead, I work closely with my clients to uncover what matters most to them and build a path forward that feels practical, meaningful, and sustainable. Whether you're navigating life transitions, managing emotional stress, or working toward personal goals, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Clients who tend to thrive in our work together are often ready for change—even if they’re not sure where to begin. You might be balancing multiple roles, feeling the pressure of high expectations, or simply trying to make sense of a challenging season. Whatever you're carrying, I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to take the next step. My approach is strengths-based, client-centered, and grounded in collaboration. Together, we’ll work to reconnect you with your resilience, clarify what matters most, and take practical steps toward a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and manageable.
I’ve found that SFBT can be especially effective for clients who are facing immediate stressors, navigating transitions, or seeking clarity in a short timeframe. This approach focuses on strengths, possibilities, and solutions rather than problems alone. I work collaboratively with clients to uncover what’s already working, build on existing resources, and create a clear vision for the future. Even in complex situations, I believe that small, intentional shifts can lead to significant progress and SFBT offers a structured yet flexible way to support that growth. My goal is to make each session purposeful, empowering, and aligned with what matters most to the client.
At the heart of my work is a person-centered approach, which means I believe that each individual is the expert in their own life. My role is to create a supportive, respectful space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals—without judgment or pressure. With over 10 years of experience, including more than five years working with military service members and families, I’ve seen how powerful it can be when someone simply feels heard and understood. Person-centered therapy allows us to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and authenticity. From that foundation, meaningful change can happen—at your pace and on your terms. I don’t come in with a one-size-fits-all plan; instead, we work together to uncover your strengths and create a path that aligns with who you are and where you want to go.
