Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Tennessee. I received my Master’s in Social Worker in 2011 from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. I enjoy working with adults experiencing many complex life transitions such as, Post Traumatic Stress disorder and grief. I enjoy aligning with clients to help them find their determination in moving forward with healthier coping skills.
In our first session, we will discuss your current pressing concerns and then move to how we can develop goals, to assist you in achieving them in future follow up sessions.
My greatest strengths are being patient with helping others reach their goals. I’ve found when clients are truly engage in the process they are so thankful to see their accomplishments.
I love working with adults who are experiencing life transitions with dealing with past experiences. My clients are eager to work on their past to find healing in their present day situations.
I currently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist clients with reframing their negative thoughts.
I currently work with clients using EMDR to assist in reprocessing their traumatic experiences.
I integrate Mindfulness throughout my sessions by assisting clients with disengaging from self-criticism, rumination, and emotional dysregulation that can arise when reacting to negative thinking patterns.
I currently work with clients who are working through loss of loved ones or through prolonged grief of losses in their life.
