Being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist . I have been fortunate to work with individuals, children and families for over the past 14 years. I have had the advantage of working in a field that brings me fulfillment as I get the opportunity to help others work through life's challenges. It is a true honor for someone to allow me into their life. I am so thankful I can work with them to navigate their healing journey.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then identify the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me to better understand your unique challenges and help us to identify your treatment goals and a plan going forward.

Individuals who struggle with communication barriers, anger issues, anxiety, major depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, familial conflict, childhood trauma and parenting issues/conflict, career challenges, struggling with coping with chronic illness and more.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with teens learning how to navigate their social, emotional and educational challenges. Adults of all ages in all stages of their lives from career development/challenges, dating, marriage, divorce, coparenting issues, postpartum depression, infertility and more. I am currently not accepting couples at this time.

Family systems therapy is a form of psychotherapy that treats the family as a unit. It's based on the premise that, when something affects one member, it affects every other family member as well; likewise, the strength and stability of a family unit can provide support when one member needs help. Family systems therapy also focuses on the generational, social, community, and cultural factors that influence individuals and families. This approach helps with parenting tools, processing childhood experiences, traumas, interpersonal relationship dynamics that can continue to impact our mental health. I further utilize psychoeducation and book materials/podcast to further process and healing.
I utilized a Trauma Focused Therapy approach to assist in healing to address symptoms related to traumatic experiences, like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), by utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques, focusing on skill building, and cognitive processing to help them cope and manage their trauma-related distress. Leading on the path for healing and having a quality of life we all deserve.
