New clients continue care with this provider

I am a licensed clinical social worker working in a private practice in Chattanooga, TN. I work with individuals who are struggling with Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. I also work with adolescents and adults coping with anxiety, depression, bipolar, addiction, communication skills, trauma, grief & loss, body image, self-esteem, self harm, suicidality, and severe mental illness. I have completed the 2 day PSI Certificate Course as well as the Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Course. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness skills, as I offer genuine care, support and empowerment to my clients.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, I'll gather some background information as well as explore current challenges you are facing. This is will help me gain insight as how to best help you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

During my 10 years of working in diverse areas of mental health, I have learned that everyone has their own "stuff," and work with my clients as they learn to move through (rather than get over) life stressors and challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with individuals in life transitions. Whether it be: college, moving out on their own, marriage, losses, career changes, or growing a family/navigating fertility; guiding my clients through these life changes provides them with empowerment that they did not know was within them.

My treatment methods

EMDR

By using EMDR, I help clients reprocessing past experiences so that they are no longer reacting to present day triggers as if it were the past.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

By using CBT, I help clients explore their values and how they can best live their values. I also help clients reframe their thinking patterns through their behaviors.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

By using Solution Focused Brief Treatment, I help clients find quick, practical, and helpful solutions for whatever it is they may be struggling with at the time.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

By using Mindfulness-Based Therapy, I help clients become more intentional with their thoughts, words, and behaviors. I also help clients find awareness with their emotions as well as physical body.

Strength-Based

By using Strength-Based, I help clients focus on their strengths in what they have overcome was well as what they are currently trying to overcome.
