LCSW, 20 years of experience
Welcome! With a Master’s in Social Work from the University of TN Knoxville in 2004, I've practiced therapy extensively with diverse populations. My empathetic, compassionate style blends coaching, accountability, and passion, meeting clients where they are. I embrace a holistic approach to wellness, focusing on mental, physical, and spiritual health (Whole Self Wellness), specializing in a Faith-Based (Christian) perspective. Neurodivergent affirming. Grateful for your consideration!
During our Initial Consultation, we typically cover the confidentiality policy, scheduling policies, followed by a discussion of therapy goals, to delve into the client's concerns. From here, we will discuss the Holistic model, to gain insight into my approach, ensuring alignment with their needs. Together, we'll assess if it's a "good fit." IF so, scheduling is encouraged and a homework assignment given.
The holistic approach empowers clients to pursue optimal mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. As a provider, I collaborate with clients and meet them where they are on their journey to becoming healthier versions of themselves.
My approach integrates potent Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies, empowering clients to embrace their authentic selves. While primarily CBT-based, my eclectic approach combines evidence-based methods for enhanced thought, mood, and behavior management. Emphasizing holistic wellness, clients stay engaged through progressive homework and assignments, fostering continual growth. I blend empathy, compassion, coaching, accountability, and passion, flexibly meeting clients where they are.
As a Holistic Provider, I collaborate with the Client to explore where the Psychology is Integrated with the Theology.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the foundation that we build from in the Therapeutic Alliance.
Trauma Informed Care includes foundational CBT methods combined with potential Bilateral Brain Stimulation as needed, and assessed case by case.
As a Holistic Provider, I collaborate with the Client to explore where the Psychology is Integrated with the Theology.

This was a great session. I will definitely rebook. His scope is not limited to counseling, but with strong biblical roots and physical training, and a nutritionist for a wife, he has insight and experience to serve the whole person. Blessings!
