I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Tennessee. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. I have worked in all types of settings, such as intensive in-home, outpatient, and inpatient. I have expertise in women’s issues, life transitions, anxiety and depression. My knowledge and experience in these settings makes me qualified to assist you in these areas.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with my clients for 6 years. This evidenced based approach is effective with individuals that struggle with depression and anxious symptoms. Through examining thoughts, feelings, and behaviors together, we will learn how to change negative thinking patterns and behaviors to decrease those symptoms.
