My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use an eclectic approach. I use acceptance and commitment therapy for emotional regulation and helping with mindfulness. I also use ACT as a supplement to internal family systems work.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients desensitize traumatic memory to allow room for healing.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal family systems(parts work) is helpful and understanding ourselves, our traumas, and parts of ourselves that have broken off from self leadership and are doing their own thing. With IFS, we can get to know our parts, unburden our parts and hold them into self leadership..

Polyvagal Therapy

Feeling safe is an important part of healing our nervous system. I work predominantly with CPTSD and find that poly vagal theory and harnessing the power of the vagus nerve toward regulating. Our nervous system is an important part of the healing journey.
