I've been a licensed psychologist for over 20 years. I earned my master's and PhD from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. Beyond my psychotherapy practice, I teach student therapists, I write non-fiction, and I travel as an inspirational speaker. I will work collaboratively with you to help you deepen connections with important people in your life, clarify your values and live a life driven by them, and develop skills to recognize and respond to mental health challenges (like anxiety, depression, negative thinking, and negative relational patterns).
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and I'll give you an opportunity to ask questions about the therapy process. We'll then dive into the specific challenges you're facing and together we will determine if we are a good fit. If so, we will begin to develop a plan together for what our future sessions will be like.
My clients find me to be caring, warm, compassionate, and even a little bit humorous.
I value my relationship with my clients. I enjoy working with clients who want to collaborate on treatment goals.
I help you clarify your values and live a life driven by them while developing skills to recognize and respond to mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, and negative thinking.
I help you evaluate the usefulness of your current thought patterns and develop new thinking and behavior patterns to reduce emotional pain and suffering.
