I am a licensed therapist with 18 years of experience working with clients. My style is to help you feel more regulated and centered so that you can connect to yourself and others. I can help you think through difficult situations and be a sounding board to support you to live your Big Beautiful Life! My commitment is to always trust what you tell me. We all need connection to be our best selves. This is a judgement free space for you to bring fears, sadness, and even ambivalence, to develop your wise-mind and cultivate a deep appreciation for what makes you uniquely you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We’ll spend time defining what brought you to therapy, your past treatment experiences, and what you hope to gain in our work together. We’ll define short-term and realistic goals. This is your time and space to learn and grow!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Past clients say I am a good listener and offer a non-judgmental space to openly share. I have a good sense of humor and want to instill hope. I don’t believe in imposing my values and will strive to empathize and let you know you are cared for.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is woven into each client’s session to anchor the work we do and help guide treatment. We will work to slow down reactions and build more awareness so you can respond authentically and feel emotionally regulated.

Structural Family Therapy

We can examine the influence of inter-generational dynamics and your current family system. Understanding the impacts of relational dynamics can help improve your mood and help you feel more at ease.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution focused therapy allows a change in perspective, to focus on the future, and look for alternatives to problems.

Motivational Interviewing

MI can help you weigh the pros and cons and understand how to start making changes. If you’re feeling ambivalent or struggling to make healthy choices this technique can help add clarity to initiate change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Learning DBT skills can be a highly effective way to strengthen your own efficacy, better tolerate stress, and conquer relationship challenges. Like CBT, client's are given skills to practice between sessions to build mastery.
