Through the process of therapy with Shauna, you can expect to identify, process, and reduce mental health, addictive, or other symptoms that may be impacting your athletic or other performance, physical functioning, mental functioning, emotional functioning, spiritual functioning, social functioning, and overall wellness. If you are a resident in the states of California or Colorado, and are interested in finding out more about or scheduling mental health or addictions or substance abuse treatment services, Shauna accepts private insurances and self-pay clients. The first session is the clinical intake assessment. Shauna schedules directly in her practice, through direct messaging communications only (text message, email, during appointments scheduling next appointments), and not through the Grow Therapy or Google Calendar despite the calendar showing availability. Please contact Shauna through text or email (Selfcenteredcounseling@gmail.com) to schedule your first appointment for the clinical intake assessment, or should you have any questions or concerns. Having worked with elite tactical athletes (military, police, fire, other first responders), collegiate athletes, other types of performers, (and humans, who all typically struggle with performance-based ways of thinking!), I've recognized how evidenced based therapeutic modalities can help an individual identify, process, and reduce mental health symptom intensity and increase overall functioning and wellness to achieve treatment goals.
It humbles me to walk alongside someone who may be ready or is considering taking the next step or giant leap toward positive life change. I especially love to work with all types of individuals, of any age, who seek to strengthen their overall health and wellness, and enhance their athletic or other performance, while reducing intensity levels of mental health symptoms experienced.
