Hi, I'm Erica Garcia, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, supporting them through a wide range of life challenges. My approach is grounded in a multicultural and trauma-informed perspective, with a strong emphasis on collaboration. Together, we’ll work to uncover the obstacles that may be holding you back, and take meaningful steps toward building the life you want to live—one that aligns with your values and goals.
In our first session, we’ll begin with brief introductions and then explore the specific challenges you’re facing. This initial conversation helps me get a better understanding of your needs so we can create a personalized plan to guide our work together in future sessions.
My goal is to help you identify the root causes of your challenges and develop a personalized plan that leads to meaningful, measurable progress.

I felt heard. Erica was empathetic and kind. It was helpful to unload what I have been feeling over the last few days, which helped me process. I am disappointed that our next appt is 2 weeks out, because I would have liked to strategize with her before I talk with my partner about how I have been feeling. But, I understand the importance of time off (especially for a therapist), she gave me good feedback, and I am capable of talking with him without further coaching.
