My journey as a therapist was inspired by my own struggles. Addiction and mental health upended my life at an early age, but I came out on the other side with a fierce appreciation for life and an understanding that recovery can be fun. Now as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, my passion is driven by guiding my patients through their own mental health roadblocks to an easier life. With 14 years of experience, I have practiced in a wide variety of settings and spent time as a martial arts instructor. I have incorporated boxing and adventure-based interventions to help clients heal, and am always looking for creative ways to guide others to recovery. Each client deserves an individualized approach, and that’s what I aim to provide using evidence based interventions.
Individual Therapy Sometimes life feels too heavy to carry alone. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can offer the guidance you need to navigate the stressful parts. Whatever is happening in your life, you don’t need to do it alone, and it doesn’t have to be a miserable process. I strive to make it fun and effective.
Building Connection Evidenced Based Interventions Making Therapy Fun
Helping clients heal from mental health challenges—including addiction, anger, depression, psychosis, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties—has been one of the most meaningful aspects of my work. Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse clinical settings, utilizing a wide range of therapeutic modalities. My approach is active and engaging; I’ve successfully integrated boxing and adventure-based interventions into treatment to support clients in building resilience and reclaiming their lives. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Western Washington University and completed my M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University in the Bay Area. I also hold a Ph.D. in Psychology, with a specialization in Teaching and Research, from Walden University. Based in Los Angeles, I offer evening and weekend appointments to accommodate a variety of schedules. If you’re ready to take the next step in your healing journey, I’d be honored to work with you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—I look forward to connecting.
