(he/him)
My journey as a therapist was inspired by my own struggles. Addiction and mental health upended my life at an early age, but I came out on the other side with a fierce appreciation for life and an understanding that recovery can be fun. Now as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, my passion is driven by guiding my patients through their own mental health roadblocks to an easier life. My clients often tell me they feel calmer, more confident, and able to handle daily stress. I use evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, to target anxiety, mood disturbance, and stress-related symptoms. Sessions emphasize insight, skill acquisition, and measurable progress toward each client’s goals. My work focuses on fostering resilience, emotional regulation, and sustained improvement in overall functioning.
In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s been going on and what you’d like to change. I’ll ask a few questions to get to know you and your goals. By the end, you’ll have a clear sense of what working together will look like and how therapy can help you feel better.
I help people feel comfortable and understood from the start, creating a space where they can be honest without judgment. My style is direct, supportive, and focused on practical strategies that make a real difference. Clients often say they leave sessions feeling clearer, more grounded, and better equipped to handle what life throws at them.
My ideal clients are motivated to understand themselves better and ready to make meaningful changes. They may be dealing with anxiety, stress, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I work best with people who want practical tools, honest feedback, and a collaborative approach to feeling more balanced and in control of their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Helping people overcome challenges like addiction, anger, depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and relationship issues has been my passion for the past 17 years. I take an active, down-to-earth approach that combines proven therapeutic methods with creative techniques such as boxing and adventure-based interventions. My goal is to help clients build resilience, confidence, and real-world coping skills that make life feel lighter and more manageable. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a B.A. in Psychology from Western Washington University, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in the Bay Area, and a Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Teaching and Research from Walden University. Based in Los Angeles, I offer in-person and telehealth therapy across California, with flexible evening and weekend availability. If you’re ready to feel more balanced, focused, and in control of your life, I’d be honored to help you get there.
