I will coach you through tools that I will believe will help you develop into the human you'd like to be, as well as forming a meaningful relationship with a continuous advocate on your side! I love to use different areas of knowledge to support and guide clients to a place of acceptance, peace, and love in all areas of life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will explore together the areas in life that are creating stress/issues, explore the why's and the how's together, but most importantly make a game plan about how were moving you to a better place in life with less stress and worry. To a place you envision future you in. Change is possible at all times in life so lets figure out what is holding you back.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Here are some values of the therapeutic process that are important to what I do with clients: Active, transparent, direct, fun, goal -oriented, educational, ethical, progressive, productive, and holistic. All of these words have deep meaning to me and I feel make the process more genuine, professional, and grounded. I believe these are important factors for humans to make and maintain change.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Love this modality for guidance with thinking patterns of what is in and out of our control.

Polyvagal Therapy

Breeds beautiful perspective when layering in with other methods. I teach about the vagus nerve and whole body.

Couples Counseling

There are wonderful skills within this method to aid couples in better understanding of the dynamic of the relationship and how it affects all parts. I also add in some Gottman rlated content.

Humanistic

I love to collaborate with clients, which is at the heart of this theory, as you are the expert of your life. I liked to combine this unconcditional potivie regard and non judgmental space with strength based theory as well.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I will teach you tools to better understand the relationship between how thoughts can affect feelings and behavior and how trauma can shape this process.
