Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I received my Masters from LeTourneau University and have been practicing for 4 years. I work with adult clients living with self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, and anger. The goal is to provide a safe space for clients to openly talk, gain self-awareness, and identify ways to overcome their challenges.
In our first session, I will inquire about your presenting problem. This will provide me with insight on best practices to assist you with overcoming challenges and reaching your goals.
I've learned how to assist adults with gaining insight into how their thoughts and behaviors developed. This allows for developing a treatment plan specifically designed for the client.
I love working with adults that are facing life challenges but are willing to work hard to overcome. They find it hard to ask for help, but refuse to give up. These clients come to therapy, are ready to look at themselves, and gain coping skills to change their thoughts and behaviors.

Nikis Ellis was extremely warm and made me feel welcomed right off the bat. She was very empathic and made me feel understood. The conversations with her felt as if I was catching up with a close friend. I was nervous going in at first but she broke the wall like it was wet paper. The session felt spectacular!

Niki’s Ellis was very easy to talk to.Im a very private person who doesn’t like to talk to people but, she was willing to listen and didn’t judge me.I appreciate her trying to navigate me through my problems and I feel that I’m on the right path.This was my first session but, I felt her statement that I been holding on to this too long..I feel very lighter and look forward to working with her.

This was my first session with her, and she was amazing! I have never had anyone tell me to even give myself "grace" because I have been through a lot. She seemed eager to work with me, and passionate about her job. I can't wait for our next session.
