Monica Chwojdak
Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Virginia and have been providing therapy support since 2014. I help people recognize their strengths to improve their mental wellbeing and find solutions to life’s challenges.
As a military veteran, I'm especially connected to and experienced in working with active duty, family members, veterans, and government/DOD employees.
I also work with adults with a history of childhood trauma or have had traumatic experiences-to find a way towards peace and resilience for the future. As a military veteran, I'm especially connected to and experienced in working with active duty, family members, veterans, and government/DOD employees.

During our initial session, we will get to know each other and discuss your expectations of our work together.
Strengths
With over 16 years of experience, I know that all clients and challenges are unique to each person and the therapy experience should be as well. As an Army veteran, I'm able to understand the military community and the specific areas of concern that come along with military service.
Ideal clients
I am so proud when my clients begin to take control of the their well being, knowing they are the being the best version of themselves.
