If you struggle with things like Anxiety, Stress, Worry, Depression then I can help. I have been working with individuals since 2014 to reclaim their lives, feel more confident and at ease with whatever life throws at them. Sometimes my clients have big decisions they struggle with making or difficulty navigating relationships and I can help with that too. I also love to work with my mid-life career shifters who are unsure what career might best fit the next stage of their life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session will be one where we wil spend some time getting to know each other. They say the best therapy comes from the client and therapist fit. So let's establish that first and then we can dig in a bit. I listen a lot during the first session to understand what the main issues are, where you are getting stuck, and what you have tried that has worked and what has not. Then from there, I will ask you what your main goals are for our time together. I will work to always return back to those goals to make sure we are working on what you find important.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I would like to think I am a good listener, and empathetic, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I find that my clients can make the greatest advancements when they are in a safe and non-judgmental space. We have all been there when we try to vent to a friend and very quickly get shut down or told what we are doing is wrong. With me, if something is not working I like to ask questions and to also work together toward solutions that will fit you.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I believe all of my clients have the solutions to their issues either through their own internal resources or through external support. We will work together in collaborative relationship to help implement the most helpful solutions that work for you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Often, the difficulties we face in life come from how we think, feel, and behave. We will work together to identify unhelpful thinking, regulate emotions, and make choices that support a more balanced and healthy life.

Christian Counseling

If Christianity and your spiritual life is important to you, then I happy to colloborate with you to discuss this with you as there is nothing greater than two people discussing the support of God to strengthen and heal. We can discuss as little or as much as you would like as I do not preach or judge but simply talk as another imperfect human being that struggles as well.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

Often ERP is used to help with OCD, but I also use Exposure Therapy with many forms of Anxiety. This is a therapy where we gently face your fears in order to reduce their impact and hold on you. Over time you will gain the freedom to do the the things in life that you want and let go of the things that hold you back.
