Hello, my name is Jessica Wright, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Georgia. I received my Masters from Richmont Graduate University and have been in practice for 5 years. I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges. My approach to therapy is grounded in creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and valued. Whether you're navigating issues in your marriage, facing challenges in family dynamics, or seeking personal growth and healing, I'm here to support you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, go over logistics, and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. This session is designed to look differently than follow-up sessions naturally because we are gathering information and getting to know one another.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach is deeply rooted in empathy and compassion, creating a therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. I look beyond immediate symptoms to explore the underlying factors impacting my clients' well-being. This allows me to tailor interventions specifically to each client's unique needs and goals. I value the collaborative nature of therapy, viewing each client as an active participant in their healing journey. By fostering a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust and mutual respect, I empower clients to explore their challenges, gain insights, and work towards positive change. Cultural competence is also fundamental to my practice—I embrace and integrate clients' diverse backgrounds, identities, and perspectives into our work together.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

In my practice, couples counseling serves as a fundamental treatment method for addressing relational challenges and fostering healthier partnerships. I approach couples counseling with a commitment to understanding each partner's perspective, identifying relational patterns, and facilitating constructive communication and problem-solving strategies.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In my practice, mindfulness-based therapy is integrated as a core component of promoting holistic well-being and personal growth. I create a therapeutic environment that encourages clients to explore mindfulness as a practical tool for enhancing self-awareness, managing stress, and fostering psychological resilience. Through collaborative exploration and skill-building, I empower clients to cultivate mindfulness as a lifelong resource for living more authentically and fully.

Interpersonal

Interpersonal treatment methods are integral to supporting clients in improving their relational well-being and navigating interpersonal challenges effectively. I create a collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore and address their interpersonal issues, develop new skills, and build stronger, more satisfying relationships. Through evidence-based interventions and a strengths-based approach, I assist clients in achieving their goals for enhanced social and emotional well-being.
