Life can feel like standing at a crossroads with no clear signs. The pressure to have it all figured out — your career, your relationships, your sense of self — can quietly build into something heavier than you expected. If you're waking up exhausted, struggling to feel motivated, and carrying a low hum of worry that never quite goes away, you're not alone. And you don't have to keep pushing through it on your own. I specialize in working with adults navigating the overlapping challenges of anxiety and depression — two experiences that often travel together, each making the other harder to manage. You might find yourself caught in cycles of overthinking and withdrawal, feeling both restless and empty at the same time. That tension is real, and it makes sense given everything you're carrying. My approach combines talk therapy with practical, evidence-based tools designed to build lasting change. Together, we'll work to untangle the thought patterns keeping you stuck, develop coping skills you can actually use in daily life, and strengthen your emotional resilience and flexibility — so that when life gets hard, you have real resources to draw on. I create a space that is warm, judgment-free, and genuinely tailored to who you are, and what works for you. You're at a stage of life that's full of real pressure and real possibility. Therapy isn't about having something "seriously wrong" with you — it's about getting the support you deserve to move through this period with more clarity, steadiness, and self-compassion.

Hi, I'm Attalie. Have you forgotten to take care of yourself? Do you often wonder what it would take to feel some sense of balance in your life again? We are faced with challenges and changes in life constantly. Making adjustments to pivot to meet the expectations of those changes often leads to feelings of overwhelm, disappointment, frustrations and a sense of depletion with no time to care for self. If you often escape, avoid, procrastinate or for that matter take on everyone else's issues except your own sense of wellness and health I am here to help empower you to develop and access your own inner resources and move toward self actualization and personal growth. I look at mental health in a wholistic sense. I mix mindfulness and decades of experience in fitness to help you find what works for you to live your best balanced life and find the fulfillment you need to step into the alignment of your purpose. Developing a strong relationship with self; defining your boundaries, recognizing your value systems and how they pertain to your way of being in this messy world are the staples to grounding yourself mentally. You are enough, you are deserving, and whatever you are dealing with now I'll meet you there. Let's work together to find tools that are intrinsically yours and get to a better you, so that each day is met with a sense of balance and well being despite the stressors in life.

If you're a mother carrying more than you can name — postpartum anxiety, birth trauma, the specific grief of bringing a child into a world that feels increasingly uncertain — you're in the right place. I'm a licensed counselor with 14 years of experience specializing in perinatal mental health, postpartum mood disorders, birth trauma, and PTSD. I also work at the intersection of maternal wellbeing and climate anxiety, supporting mothers who find that their worry about the world is inseparable from their experience of motherhood. This is more common than you've been told, and it has a name. My approach is somatic, relational, and grounded in expressive arts and nature-based practices. I hold a PhD in Multicultural Women's and Gender Studies and have spent my career researching what mothers are actually experiencing, not what they're supposed to be experiencing. That research informs every session. I work best with mothers who are thoughtful, searching, and done being told their distress is an overreaction. Whether you're navigating a difficult postpartum period, processing a birth that didn't go the way you planned, managing the daily weight of ecological grief, or simply trying to find yourself again inside of motherhood, I'm here for all of it. I offer telehealth sessions for clients in Texas and New Mexico through my practice, Southwest Perinatal Counseling.

My ideal clients are adults—often high achievers—who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, and the pressure to keep everyone else happy. These patterns quietly erode confidence, strain relationships, and make even small decisions feel exhausting. What they’re really looking for is relief—clearer boundaries, steadier self-trust, and the ability to move through life without constantly second-guessing themselves or carrying old family dynamics into the present.

I specialize in helping individuals feel grounded, confident and less overwhelmed. Therapy with me focuses on reducing anxiety and depression, healing trauma patterns, strengthening self-trust, and improving communication, boundaries, and relationships so you can move out of survival mode and into a life that feels steady, aligned. This is a compassionate space for real change. My path into therapy began with a truth I’ve witnessed repeatedly—people can grow through even the most difficult seasons. Working across diverse mental health settings revealed the resilience individuals carry, even when they feel uncertain or stuck. Those experiences shaped my grounded, practical approach. I believe healing begins when you feel truly seen and supported. In private practice, I help clients work through anxiety, depression, self-doubt, trauma, and relationship challenges. Together, we slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and create changes that feel steady and sustainable. My goal is to help you feel balanced, confident, and deeply connected to yourself and others. You don’t need the perfect words or a clear plan to begin therapy. Just show up as you are—I’ll meet you there. My style is warm, collaborative, and straightforward. I listen carefully, ask meaningful questions, and offer practical tools to help you understand your patterns and respond with intention. I value authenticity over formality and bring honesty—and at times humor—when it serves the work. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most, creating small, meaningful shifts that build lasting change. You’ll have space to reflect, practice new skills, and feel consistently supported. My hope is that you leave each session feeling clearer, lighter, and equipped with tools you can use immediately.

My therapeutic style is warm, relational, experiential, and direct. I use humor to help clients relax and feel at home where I can. One of the first skills I teach a new client is nervous system regulation. This is a gift that will pay dividends in the future. Somatic approaches are a nice place to start and helps clients to build skills in sitting with the hard moments, slowing down when needed, cultivating curiosity, and deepening their emotional experiences. I encourage self-compassion and self-love as explorations we can make slowly and together, and over time, clients find that this can become comfortable and even joy-inducing. I believe we’re called to grow and change when the strategies that once helped us survive and adapt start causing us problems. This doesn't mean we are broken or need fixing, not at all. In fact, it is those very skills that got you here, and we celebrate that. We might consider safe and tiny ways we can help move beyond old patterns of shame, guilt, people-pleasing, and self-judgment... and into a more authentic life that is a more rewarding, exciting, and consistent way of being who you want to be. Together we aim for more authenticity, more self-forgiveness and and self-acceptance as we work towards the life YOU want.

Hello, I am a clinical psychologist who has been in practice sine 1999. I work with a general adult population, with my main focus being on PTSD, depression and anxiety. During the early stages of my career, I performed extensive psychological and neuropsychological testing. This helped me to understand the general workings of the brain and how important it is to utilize this knowledge in my therapy. I have found that helping my clients understand that mental illness is not "just in my head" or something I need to "get over' has been so very beneficial in people healing and taking control of their lives. I hope to have the opportunity to help you heal and make positive changes in your life.

I work with mothers and caregivers — including teachers and professionals who support children — who may feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure of who they are while caring for others. Together, we explore identity changes, emotional stress, and the pressures of caregiving, creating space for clarity, healing, and a stronger connection to self. //Trabajo con madres y personas cuidadoras (maestras y profesionales) que apoyan a niños — que pueden sentirse abrumadas, agotadas o inseguras de quiénes son mientras cuidan de otros. I provide a warm, nurturing, & faith-honoring space for young adults & moms who are navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, & major life transitions. I specialize in supporting individuals who often carry the emotional weight of expectations, responsibilities, & caregiving—while quietly struggling to care for themselves. For young adults, therapy can be a place to process academic pressure, identity development, faith questions, relationship challenges, & the emotional overwhelm that often comes with stepping into adulthood. For moms, I offer compassionate support through the emotional shifts of motherhood, postpartum adjustment, self-doubt, & the desire to remain grounded in both faith & self-care. My approach gently integrates Christian & Catholic values for those who wish to include faith as part of their healing journey, honoring the mind, body, & spirit. Whether you’re seeking calm amid racing thoughts, relief from emotional heaviness, or a renewed sense of purpose & confidence, I walk alongside you with empathy, understanding, & encouragement. Together, we’ll navigate the tides of life & create space for peace, healing, & renewal. I welcome you to begin your journey toward finding your own mental oasis—even in the midst of life’s waves. 🌊 *Sessions are available in English & Spanish.

I believe that compassion and self-love are powerful tools that allow us to overcome life’s challenges and mental health struggles. By fostering a nonjudgmental and understanding environment, we can acknowledge that perfection is not the goal—growth is. Each person is unique, processing experiences in their own way and at their own pace. Through patience, collaboration, and consistency, we can achieve meaningful goals and build resilience together. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my purpose is to help others just as I was once helped. My personal journey—marked by life experiences, challenges, and both right and wrong choices—has guided me toward the most rewarding profession: supporting others in their healing. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your healing journey and to help you discover your strength, resilience, and potential for growth.

Do you feel worn down by the relentless events of your life? Are you overwhelmed by the myriad of self-help choices out there and need some guidance? Have you experienced loss and don’t know what to do with those intense feelings? Do you just feel like you are “going through the motions”, pleasing everyone but yourself? I get it. I’ve been there too. I work with people going through those transition periods when they are on the brink of either breakdown or breakthrough, and help them discover new and exciting possibilities as they reinvent themselves through adversity. I am a kind but practical, no-nonsense therapist. I want you to get results, not just rehash your problems over and over.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by Texas rather than a city like Dallas?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Texas. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Texas from Houston to Austin! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Texas.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What happens during the first therapy session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
