* Important: Not all available appointments are shown. Please schedule an appointment and we can discuss other appointment times _ Hi! I’m Israel. Ever feel like no one really listens to you or, honestly, just doesn’t get you, especially your parents? Not to worry, that’s where I come in. I enjoy working with young people and help them understand their emotions or how to get along with their parents, teachers and/or friends. Sometimes it can be difficult to express our emotions, talk to people or just navigate this hectic young life. I've been working with young people and helping them find their way for many, many years. It might take a few sessions to get comfortable and figure things out, and that’s completely okay. We’ll take it one step at a time and work through it together. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. Let’s work together!

I am trauma-informed, warm and incorporate humor in sessions. I view each person as unique; I orient from a biopsychosocial approach, incorporating one’s genetic factors, current/ past environment, and lifestyle choices into the whole person. “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is we are powerful beyond measure.” I help people recognize the light within and tools to shine through the ups and downs of life through incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy and a strengths-based approach. I was a Division I college athlete and pursued graduate studies in nutrition research and physical activity. These experiences shaped my interest in neuroscience, neuroplasticity, and our ability to develop new patterns of thinking, feeling, and responding to life's challenges.

I love guiding people on their healing journeys. It is a privilege to be invited into someone's inner world, and my priority is to create a safe space for this deep work to happen. If you have high self-awareness and insight but still struggle to shake anxiety, depression, negative relationship patterns, or strong emotional and visceral responses—and you recognize these are stored deep within your nervous system and unconscious mind—EMDR therapy may be the right approach for you. EMDR supports the brain's natural ability to heal and is a highly effective, evidence-based trauma therapy. To complement this, I integrate interventions from other proven modalities, including parts work, compassion-focused therapy, somatic-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults who are trying to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. I’m especially drawn to working with people who have spent a lot of time questioning themselves, putting others’ needs before their own, or feeling disconnected from who they are and what they want. My work often centers around developing self-trust, creating healthier relationships, strengthening boundaries, and feeling more secure and confident in yourself. My approach is warm, genuine, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what’s really going on without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out. We can slow things down, explore what may be underneath the patterns you’re experiencing, and make sense of how your past experiences and current relationships may be influencing the way you see yourself and move through the world. Many people reach a point where they know something needs to change, but aren’t quite sure what that change looks like. You may be navigating a transition, questioning whether your relationships reflect what you truly want, struggling to trust your own decisions, or simply feeling unlike yourself. Sometimes the hardest part is knowing that the way you’ve been coping isn’t working anymore, while not yet knowing what to do instead. My goal is to help you develop a clearer understanding of yourself and the life you want to create. I’m not here to tell you who to be or what choices to make. I’m here to help you feel more grounded in yourself, recognize what you need, and build the confidence and tools to move forward in a way that feels authentic to you.

Hi, I'm Attalie. Have you forgotten to take care of yourself? Do you often wonder what it would take to feel some sense of balance in your life again? We are faced with challenges and changes in life constantly. Making adjustments to pivot to meet the expectations of those changes often leads to feelings of overwhelm, disappointment, frustrations and a sense of depletion with no time to care for self. If you often escape, avoid, procrastinate or for that matter take on everyone else's issues except your own sense of wellness and health I am here to help empower you to develop and access your own inner resources and move toward self actualization and personal growth. I look at mental health in a wholistic sense. I mix mindfulness and decades of experience in fitness to help you find what works for you to live your best balanced life and find the fulfillment you need to step into the alignment of your purpose. Developing a strong relationship with self; defining your boundaries, recognizing your value systems and how they pertain to your way of being in this messy world are the staples to grounding yourself mentally. You are enough, you are deserving, and whatever you are dealing with now I'll meet you there. Let's work together to find tools that are intrinsically yours and get to a better you, so that each day is met with a sense of balance and well being despite the stressors in life.

Are you having more bad days than good days? Tell me if this sounds like you: You're low most of the time, and it's hard to remember the last time you felt like yourself. You feel sad and unmotivated. Getting out of bed takes effort, and things you used to enjoy feel flat. You snap at people, then feel guilty. And sometimes the heaviness gets so loud that you have thoughts of not wanting to be here. If that's you, you're not weak, dramatic, or beyond help. Those thoughts are a sign of how much stress you're carrying, and they're something we can talk about openly, without judgment or alarm. You can probably trace where it comes from: the unpredictable home, the pull between cultures, the habit of staying capable and needing little. You've done the reflecting, and maybe the therapy too. But insight didn't make the feelings go away. Often it's because anxiety and depression are feeding each other, and understanding alone doesn't reach that cycle.

My therapeutic style is warm, relational, experiential, and direct. I use humor to help clients relax and feel at home where I can. One of the first skills I teach a new client is nervous system regulation. This is a gift that will pay dividends in the future. Somatic approaches are a nice place to start and helps clients to build skills in sitting with the hard moments, slowing down when needed, cultivating curiosity, and deepening their emotional experiences. I encourage self-compassion and self-love as explorations we can make slowly and together, and over time, clients find that this can become comfortable and even joy-inducing. I believe we’re called to grow and change when the strategies that once helped us survive and adapt start causing us problems. This doesn't mean we are broken or need fixing, not at all. In fact, it is those very skills that got you here, and we celebrate that. We might consider safe and tiny ways we can help move beyond old patterns of shame, guilt, people-pleasing, and self-judgment... and into a more authentic life that is a more rewarding, exciting, and consistent way of being who you want to be. Together we aim for more authenticity, more self-forgiveness and and self-acceptance as we work towards the life YOU want.

Hello! I am Wendy Theriot,MA,LPC. I spent years specializing in trauma-focused therapy and have worked in the private practice setting as well as treatment facility setting. This year I have taken a break from in-person therapy where I specialized in EMDR to more of a person-centered approach addressing men’s issues, as well as working mainly with with First Responders, Veterans, Active Duty personnel as well as couples. I guide the client in the direction of healing or self actualization incorporating Cognitive Processing , Jungian therapy and Attachment-Based therapy. “Jungian”refers to the psychological doctrines and analytical therapy developed by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. It helps to uncover hidden forces driving human behavior by integrating the conscious and unconscious mind, ultimately striving toward authenticity and personal wholeness. Attachment Based therapy is a form of counseling that explores how your early childhood relationships with primary caregivers shape your adult attachment style. In addition to individual therapy I have worked with couples using the Gottman Method. It is a structured, research-based approach to couples therapy developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. It aims to disarm conflicting verbal communication, increase intimacy and respect, and remove barriers. If you are seeing me through an EAP or have a limited amount of therapy sessions I also do Solution Focused Brief Therapy where we don’t look at the past as much as we look towards the future and what you want to envision. With my help you can get there.

I also graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors of Arts in Human Development and Family Sciences and a concentration on Families and Personal Relationships. I work with clients who want to improve the way they experience life. The desire for better relationships with themselves and with others, and to gain a sense of purpose and meaning. I’ve always been interested in what drives people and believe that we can usually discover what is best for ourselves if we slow down, take the time to think things through, talk about it with a person we trust, and express the feelings we have in healthy ways—even the negative ones we may try to avoid. I use a number of therapeutic modalities in my practice, which connect thoughts to feelings and feelings to thoughts, enabling my clients to change and grow in the positive direction that they might envision for themselves. I work with clients who have struggled with addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, relationship separation, internal conflict and conflict with others, grief and loss, and other transitions and adjustment issues. I have completed Gottman trainings, as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy, which offers a structured approach and an emotional map for couples or individuals to learn how successful couples make their relationships last and how to handle conflict in a way that prevents damage to the relationship and helps them feel better connected to their partner. I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy designed to help a person unlock their nervous system to recover from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other problems that can take hold.

I’m Natalie, and I’ve spent over 10 years helping people navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, self esteem, and life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and honest. We can explore what you have been through, recognize patterns that no longer serve you, and develop practical ways to move forward. I know that culture, identity, relationships, and lived experiences shape how each of us sees the world, so I take time to understand what those mean for you. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin.

I am first and foremost a lover of people. My approach is authentic, supportive, empathetic, and understanding of the difficulties many experience in life having to manage mental health symptoms, feelings of being alone/misunderstood, dealing with the ramifications of historical trauma and the impact these can have on one's current relationships. My greatest strength is quickly building rapport and focusing on holistic wellness (mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically) and the connection between them. I am devoted to best care practices and excellent service delivery. I align myself well and tend to the immediate needs, desires, and goals of the person I'm working with. I don't believe that therapy is about learning to 'suffer less' but to work towards realizing one's full potential and highest level of functioning, identifying and working to resolve barriers that stand in the way, and developing the ability to trust in oneself, and one's ability to thrive in life. Every goal that is important to my client is important to me.

Starting therapy can take courage, especially if you’ve felt misunderstood, judged, or unsupported in the past. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are — a place that feels safe, affirming, and genuinely supportive. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ folks, women, and anyone navigating the impacts of trauma, identity-based stress, or systems that haven’t always made space for them. In our work together, we’ll move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. Therapy with me is collaborative — you’re the expert on your life, and I’m here to support you with tools, perspective, and care as you make sense of your experiences and move toward the life you want. Some of the approaches I draw from include EMDR for trauma processing, DBT for building coping and emotional regulation skills, and The Daring Way™ work around vulnerability, courage, and living in alignment with your values. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start. That’s okay — we’ll figure it out together. Whether you’re working through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and build the skills you need to move forward. If you’re curious about working together, I’d love to connect. Whoever you are, you are welcome here.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I work primarily with adults navigating relationship challenges, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, and difficulties with trust, self-worth, and emotional connection. A central focus of my work is helping clients identify, explore, and change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we explore how early experiences and core beliefs influence the way you view yourself and others, respond to challenges, make decisions, and navigate relationships and daily life. My goal is to help you move beyond simply understanding these patterns to making meaningful, lasting changes that align with who you want to be. Depending on your individual needs, I draw from CBT, DBT skills, ACT strategies, schema work, and attachment-based or relational approaches to support greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, healthier relationships, and lasting behavioral change.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
