Hi, I'm Attalie. Have you forgotten to take care of yourself? Do you often wonder what it would take to feel some sense of balance in your life again? We are faced with challenges and changes in life constantly and making adjustments as we pivot to meet expectations of family, community, and work often leads to a sense of depletion and no time to care for self. If you often escape, avoid, procrastinate or for that matter take on everyone else's issues and never have time to sort out your own sense of wellness and health I am here to help you grow, understand and advocate for your overall health and well being. I look at mental health in a wholistic sense. I mix mindfulness and decades of experience in fitness to help you find what works for you. I empower you to live your best balanced life and find the fulfillment you need to step into the alignment of your purpose. Developing a strong relationship with self; defining your boundaries, recognizing your value systems and how they pertain to your way of being in this messy world are the staples to grounding yourself mentally. You are enough, you are deserving, and whatever you are dealing with now I'll meet you there. Let's work together to find tools that are intrinsically yours and get to a better you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My focus and interest is to help educate you on what affects you and increase your coping skills to manage life better. This is an adventure to understand who you are and what you choose to respond or react to, from nutrition; to movement; the love you seek or to decrease the limits you have placed on yourself. A healthy relationship with self is an important baseline that I aim to help you set. Confronting anxiety, depression, life changing circumstances, mental and physical health issues takes tremendous courage and hard work; therefore anyone having access and taking the time to enter this process is respected and nurtured as they open themselves up to find resilience in small and manageable bites.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My therapy style is assertive, interactive and realistic. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe therapy is a process that clients internalize as their own, and learn to trust with my help. We are faced with challenges and changes in all of life experiences. While change is something we seek in many things, it is often something we resist. As a a therapist who utilizes several modalities such as CBT, Solution focused and Rational emotive therapy I strive to help patients grow, understand and advocate for their overall health and well being.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Each patient is unique with their own unique set of circumstances. My strength in session is to provide you with what it is that you may need in the moment to help you feel understood, and explore with you in your unique way on supporting your own growth. Narratives that you have held and used as your truth may be questioned in session. I am assertive and I use analogies that may help you to apply very complicated clinical and evidenced based techniques in a way that helps you to create healthier habits and a healthier way of being.
