My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have 25+ years of experience in effectively applying therapeutic techniques such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being. CBT is highly beneficial for clients because it focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. Let's work together on the "3 C's" strategy about our thoughts - Catch it, Check it, Change it! A big PLUS is that CBT is a goal-oriented approach that is effective in treating a wide range of issues. And the best part is that CBT is typically effective in a short time which makes it a practical and efficient therapy option for many busy individuals.

Supportive

So much of what we do as caring, compassionate Therapists is to provide a Supportive counseling environment. This form of counseling focuses on validating clients' experiences, enhancing their self-esteem, and helping them develop coping strategies. It can be particularly helpful during times of stress, grief, or transition, as it offers emotional support and guidance to navigate through difficult situations.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Come learn from me the power of mindfulness to significantly enhance your life. Mindfulness-based therapy is a therapeutic approach which involves paying attention to the present moment in a non-judgmental and accepting way. By developing this awareness, clients can learn to respond to situations in a more intentional manner, rather than reacting automatically. Mindfulness-based therapy has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
