LCSW, 27 years of experience
Hi, my name is Kristie. As an experienced Therapist focused on life stressors, relationship building, improving communication, anxiety, and depression, I believe that you are worth more than life has dealt you. There is life to be lived outside of your mind and I want to help you experience it . You don’t have to continue feeling stressed, alone and anxious. I am proud of you for taking the first step towards taking care of yourself. Therapy can offer you deeper insight into yourself and a safe space to share your thoughts, feelings and fears. I want you to feel confident in learning skills to manage your emotions and increase your satisfaction in life. If you are ready to make a change I am here to support you each step of the way!
We will take time to explore your history and experiences, focusing on the concerns that brought you to therapy. Together, we’ll identify your goals for treatment. After that, each session will be dedicated to making progress toward those goals.
Empowering my clients to improve their mental health is at the core of my mission, and the foundation of my work. About me:Master's level degree, licensed in TX for 27 yrs. Do you find yourself gripped by anxiety and worry, no matter what you do? Is it getting harder to manage the ups and downs of life? Are you grieving the death of a loved one or a big life transition? You may be fed up with missing out on the things you enjoy, feeling unseen, fearful, overwhelmed or down all the time. You might not even remember a time things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to experience joy again and have peace of mind. You’re ready to discover your new purpose.

Solution focused Brief therapy helps you identify what’s already working and build on it to create meaningful change. Instead of digging into the past, we focus on your strengths and the future you want. It’s a positive, practical way to move forward one small step at a time.
CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected. If you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, CBT teaches you how to spot unhelpful thinking patterns and replace them with more balanced ones. It’s practical, goal-oriented, and focused on helping you make real changes in your everyday life.
DBT is especially helpful if you have intense emotions or trouble managing relationships. It teaches skills like mindfulness, coping with stress, and how to handle conflict without things getting out of control. You’ll learn how to accept yourself while still working toward positive change.
Supportive therapy gives you a safe space to talk things through and feel truly heard. It focuses on building your confidence, strengthening your coping skills, and helping you feel less alone. It’s a steady, encouraging approach to help you navigate life’s challenges.
