I work with mothers and caregivers — including teachers and professionals who support children — who may feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure of who they are while caring for others. Together, we explore identity changes, emotional stress, and the pressures of caregiving, creating space for clarity, healing, and a stronger connection to self.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introduction and establish rapport and a working alliance. Then we will dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions./ En nuestra primera sesión, comenzaremos con una breve introducción y estableceremos una buena relación terapéutica. Luego profundizaremos en los temas específicos. Esto me ayudará a crear un plan personalizado para que podamos trabajar en equipo.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My approach is grounded in extensive training in maternal mental health and infant and early childhood mental health. This allows me to look beyond symptoms and understand how identity shifts, stress, and caregiving demands affect emotional well-being. I focus on creating a safe, reflective space where clients can slow down, make sense of their experiences, and strengthen their ability to regulate emotions and care for themselves while caring for others.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am a bilingüal counselor that specializes in supporting mothers and caregivers — including educators and professionals who care for children — who give so much to others and are now looking for space to care for themselves. Many are navigating identity shifts, emotional exhaustion, or uncertainty about who they are outside of their caregiving role. Together, we work toward greater clarity, self-compassion, and balance, helping clients feel more grounded and more connected to themselves.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
This technique involves identifying and challenging irrational or distorted thoughts, and replacing them with more balanced, realistic ones. It focuses on increasing engagement in positive, rewarding activities to combat depression and negative mood states.
Attachment-based
This is a therapeutic approach that helps individuals recognize and heal attachment wounds caused by early-life experiences, often focusing on improving relationships with parents, caregivers, or partners. The therapist works to create a secure, supportive environment, helping the individual explore how early attachment patterns affect their current relationships and behaviors.
Christian Counseling
Christian counseling-based treatment methods integrate traditional psychological approaches with biblical principles, aiming to address emotional, mental, and spiritual challenges in a way that aligns with the individual's faith.
