Hi, I'm Emily Hoelscher, a Licensed Professional Counselor with twenty three years of experience in the state of Texas. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and children both in individual and group settings. In addition, I specialize in working with couples and families.
I believe the best treatment comes from establishing trust in the therapeutic relationship. You want to make sure you feel comfortable and that I am the right fit for you as a counselor. In counseling, I aim to be supportive and compassionate, while actively listening to and respecting the issues that my clients are facing. I want to meet my clients where they are at, whether it be in struggles or encouraging achievements as counseling progresses.
My counseling style combines strength-based, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused approaches to help individuals achieve their therapeutic goals. Identifying one's strengths and coping skills that can be used to help work through various issues is an important part of my therapy approach.
In counseling, I want to see my clients have hope for their future, and that from the therapeutic relationship that they gain skills and confidence to manage what may come in life. If you feel like I would be the right counselor for you, I would be honored to work with you.
Hi, I’m Jennifer.
Are you feeling lost, overwhelmed, or stuck? Have you been trying your best to navigate challenges that feel like too much? You’re not alone. You deserve support, and you can heal and find relief.
You may be going through a life transition, have become more aware of past or present traumas impacting you now, or have faced a recent difficult experience, and are ready to begin your healing journey. Hey, I’m Jeannuel
I’m really glad you’re here.
I’m a therapist, but more importantly, I’m someone who deeply values human connection, honesty, and showing up authentically. I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and real — not intimidating or overly clinical.
I’m warm, down-to-earth, and optimistic by nature. I value laughter when it fits, honesty even when things feel messy, and creating a space where you don’t have to pretend to have it all together. I believe healing happens when people feel truly seen and supported — not judged or rushed. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s story.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who appreciates balance, reflection, and growth. I care deeply about helping people reconnect with themselves and trust their inner voice again , or even discover it for the first time.
If you’re looking for a therapist who shows up as a real person and creates space for you to be one too, you’re in the right place.
Navigating life’s ups and downs can feel heavy, but you don't have to walk this path alone. I am here to truly listen, honor your unique story, and meet you exactly where you are today. Together, we will look closely at the experiences that have shaped you, unlocking the insights and gentle tools you need to heal. Your journey is entirely your own, and my goal is simply to walk beside you, helping you rediscover the resilient, whole, and reconciled person you have always been
