About me

Life can get messy sometimes. Between work, relationships, family expectations, and just trying to take care of yourself, it’s easy to feel pulled in every direction. If you’ve been carrying too much or feeling weighed down by anxiety, stress, or old wounds, I want you to know you don’t have to go through it alone. In our sessions, I show up as a real person—warm, attentive, and honest. I pay close attention to the little things, and I’ll share what I notice in a way that’s direct but never judgmental. My clients tell me it feels like talking to someone who truly “gets it.” As someone who understands the pressures of navigating multiple cultures, I bring that sensitivity into my work while welcoming people from all backgrounds. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s been weighing on you and find practical ways to bring more peace, clarity, and connection into your life. Reaching out is a brave first step, and I’m here to walk with you through the next ones.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Whether you come alone or with your partner, our first session is all about you. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking through what’s been happening in your life, and exploring the concerns that brought you here. I’ll listen closely, ask questions to better understand your story, and invite you to share what you hope will feel different. Together, we’ll start to outline some goals for therapy—whether that’s reducing anxiety, improving communication, rebuilding trust, or simply finding more balance. This first step is also your chance to ask me questions and see if this feels like the right fit. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and encouraged about where we’re headed.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What clients often tell me is that I really see them. I notice not only what’s being said, but also the feelings underneath and the patterns that may be hard to recognize on your own. I’m direct and honest in sharing my observations, but I always do it with compassion and without judgment. This balance helps clients feel both safe and supported, while also challenged to make real changes. My approach is also shaped by my own cultural background—I understand the pressures of navigating family expectations, relationships, and identity across different cultures. At the same time, I welcome clients from all walks of life and focus on tailoring therapy to fit your unique story. Clients often leave sessions with fresh insights, practical tools, and a greater sense of clarity and confidence in themselves and their relationships.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m especially well-suited for people who are feeling weighed down by anxiety, stress, or relationship struggles, and who want more than just quick fixes—they want real change. Many of my clients are individuals or couples trying to balance high expectations (from themselves, family, or culture) while still wanting to feel understood and connected. My clients come from all walks of life, but they share a common thread: they’re ready for change. They want a space where they can be open and honest without judgment, and where they’ll be supported and gently challenged to grow. If that sounds like you, you’re exactly who I’m here to help.

My treatment methods

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I understand the cultural values and family dynamics that shape clients’ lives. I use culturally sensitive therapy, combining evidence-based methods with deep respect for clients’ cultural identities. This helps individuals and families feel understood and supported while learning practical tools for growth.

Couples Counseling

I am passionate about working with couples and helping partners rebuild connection, trust, and understanding. In my sessions, I am highly attentive and sensitive to what I observe between partners, noticing both spoken and unspoken patterns. I provide honest and direct feedback, but always in a compassionate and non-judgmental way. My goal is to create a safe space where each partner feels heard while also being challenged to grow, so the relationship can move toward greater closeness and balance.

Psychoanalytic

I use a psychoanalytic approach to help clients understand the deeper patterns and unconscious influences that shape their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. In our sessions, I listen carefully not only to what is said, but also to underlying themes and repeated dynamics. I am thoughtful and sensitive in my observations, and I provide direct yet compassionate feedback that helps clients gain insight without feeling judged. This process allows people to make sense of long-standing struggles, uncover hidden strengths, and create lasting change in their lives.
