Hi, I am Yajie. Ever feel like life's a bit of a juggling act, pulling you in all sorts of directions? It happens. Work, relationships, and taking care of yourself can be a lot to handle. If you're finding it tough to be kind to yourself, I get it. In our talks, I want to help you sort through things. I use a mix of ideas from different types of therapy. We'll chat about the big questions in life—what gives it meaning, how free we are to make choices, and what responsibilities we have. This helps us give more purpose and depth to what you're going through. We'll also look at how your thoughts can affect your feelings and actions, and figure out ways to make those thoughts work better for you. And we'll use mindfulness to help you accept what's out of your control while sticking to the things that really matter to you. Whether you're dealing with big emotions, tangled relationships, or just feeling unsure, taking this step to talk it out is a brave move. In our chats, I'm here with easy-to-understand ideas and practical ways to help you grow and find your way. Let's take this journey together

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our sessions, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life's challenges. From the very first session, you can expect a welcoming space where we'll talk about what's on your mind. It's a chance for us to get to know each other, and for you to share your thoughts, feelings, and what you hope to achieve through our time together. As we move forward, we'll dive into different therapeutic approaches, drawing on elements of Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Together, we'll explore the big questions, identify unhelpful thought patterns, and find ways to align your actions with your values. As we continue working together, you can expect a collaborative and personalized approach. We'll celebrate your progress, adjust our strategies as needed, and keep the focus on what matters most to you. Our goal is to not just navigate challenges but to help you grow, finding a deeper understanding of yourself and creating a roadmap for a more fulfilling life. It's a journey, and I'm here to support you every step of the way

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I'm here to guide you through this journey using a blend of Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Drawing on the insights of Existential Therapy, we'll explore the profound questions that underpin your experiences—questions about meaning, freedom, and responsibility. This exploration provides a framework for giving depth and purpose to your life's narrative. In tandem, CBT will empower us to dissect and reshape thought patterns that might be contributing to your challenges, illuminating the interconnectedness of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Our journey will also incorporate principles from ACT, encouraging an acceptance of aspects beyond your control while fostering commitment to actions aligned with your values. This mindfulness-oriented approach allows for a more intentional and values-driven existence, creating a roadmap for positive change.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I want you to know that in our conversations, my main focus is on you and what you're going through. One of my strengths is creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I'm all about person-centered therapy, which means your experiences, thoughts, and feelings take center stage. This approach helps me understand you better, and together, we can work towards finding what truly matters to you.
