I have always had the conscious goal of supporting others with being able to overcome their hardships and internal challenges that prevents them from being successful. I am a firm believer that in life we have all experienced some type of challenge that will impact our thoughts and emotions. For some people the challenge is more difficult than others and they will experience greater hardship and internal challenges that will send them on a spiral to the unknown. Being a therapist has always been a desire of mine to support others with understanding their thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors associated with how they feel.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is utilized to established a healthy therapeutic relationships and to explore how the client would like for the therapist to support them with reaching goals. Therapist will also utilize this time to shared past experience, credentials, different types of therapy utilized in treatment, confidentiality practices and answer any questions or concerns that the client might have. During this time the therapist will also start the process of gathering social/emotional and behavioral background.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Being a therapist has always been a desire of mine to support others with understanding their thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors associated with how they feel. Life at times is a challenge. It's okay to reach out for support. If you are experiencing one of the many challenges of life please reach out for support there is never any judgment only support with working through these challenges. My strengths as a therapist are I am non-judgmental, empathy, self awareness, Patience and open to being versatility to support my client. I support my client with reaching their goals by holding them accountability with understanding the process of change and with learning how to be kind to themselves as they move through the process of understanding healing, forgiveness and feeling accomplished.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In therapy I utilized CBT to support client with being able to process negative thoughts and emotions. I also utilize CBT to support client with being able to change their own thinking, negative emotions and problematic behaviors. In therapy I also utilize CBT to support client with learning cognitive coping skills to change how they think about stressful and emotionally situations.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In therapist DBT is utilized to support client with Borderline personality disorder, Depression, PTSD, Anger, anxiety, stress and to decrease suicidal and self harming behaviors. I utilize DBT to support with managing negative and intense emotion, reducing negative moods, improving relationships and develop healthy communication. I also utilize DBT to teach healthy behaviors that improve ones quality of life. T
