I’m a licensed psychotherapist who blends practical tools with a calm, trauma-informed approach. I help adults and couples reduce anxiety, improve communication, and feel steadier in their bodies and relationships. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. You’ll get clear goals, gentle structure, and skills you can use between sessions. My work draws from attachment theory, CBT/ACT, IFS-informed parts work, and somatic regulation so change is felt, not just understood. Clients describe me as grounding and thoughtful; they leave sessions with language for what they’re feeling and simple steps to move forward. I’m culturally responsive and sensitive to faith, family roles, and identity. You don’t have to explain your background to be understood here. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of patterns, and build flexible habits that support the life you want.

Hello, Thank you for reviewing my profile. Briefly; I am Licensed Naturopathic Doctor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor I work with adult professional women dealing with anxiety, depression, past unresolved trauma, grief, stress and relationship issues. My philosophy is that we need positive human beings in our lives, to 'see' us and bear witness to our lives. In order for us to be fully human, we need at least one supportive individual who validates the part of us that needs healing. We need meaningful experiences to help us navigate this journey called life. My training as a Naturopathic Doctor affords me a lens to also consider, incorporate and integrate diet & lifestyle practices for your overall well-being. So, if you are tired of being tired, anxious, sad, depressed and you're just going through the motions, feeling stuck in dysfunctional patterns that drain you; AND you are willing to do the work to get well, then you need skilled, compassionate support to help you get unstuck and get your life back on track, so that you can experience purposeful living. As our paths intersect her, I start with the intention that you to "prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers" 3 John 2.

Through both personal and professional experience, I understand how overwhelming life can feel when you know something needs to change but aren’t sure where to start. It can be scary and overwhelming, but with guidance it’s possible to make changes that will feel exciting and empowering. I am skilled working with teens and young adults who are just starting to explore themselves and their place in the world, individuals and families navigating and adjusting to life changes, managing interpersonal relationships, reinventing yourself and managing the expectations you’ve set and finding who you want to be when you grow up. It’s so easy to think that we’re stuck in the situations we find ourselves in but I promise you that you can rewrite your story. Our time together will be an hour in your week where you can drop your mask in a safe space without fear of judgment. By allowing yourself to feel all your feelings we can break down whatever is holding you back to help you to build confidence, find clarity and the direction you’ve been searching for. I’m excited for us to get started.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey and New York, specializing in perinatal mental health, anxiety, and eating and body image concerns. I’m passionate about supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and the many identity shifts that accompany motherhood. For clients with a history of eating or body image distress, I integrate intuitive eating and body neutrality to help them find peace with food and their bodies. After years of working in hospital and outpatient settings in New York City, I chose to focus on what I’m most passionate about—helping women navigate the often overwhelming emotions that come with pregnancy and new motherhood. I support moms who feel anxious about their baby’s milestones, worry about feeding, feel disconnected, or find themselves snapping at their partner and wondering, “What’s happening to me?”

As a seasoned professional specializing in trauma-informed care, I recognize the profound impact that life experiences can have on someone’s over well-being. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based clinical modalities with a deep respect for each individual’s unique journey. I approach each client with the understanding that no two stories are the same and that therapy must be tailored to honor the individuality of your experiences. Utilizing evidence-based practices with respect for each individual’s journey, I help clients heal the emotional and historical roots of conflict. With expertise in substance use, relationships, and trauma, I support understanding how unresolved pain, unmet needs, and inherited patterns shape daily life and connection.

Search therapists by insurance

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by New York rather than a city like New York City?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across New York from Buffalo to Rochester! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in New York.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on Women's Issues?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Women's Issues, is filtering therapists in New York that work with patients with similar concerns.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs.

Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
