New to Grow
Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps adults navigate anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth, creating a safe space where you can feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, uncover your strengths, and develop practical tools to manage stress, emotions, and difficult relationships. I work with clients to build confidence, resilience, and self-compassion, helping you move forward with clarity and balance. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, relationship struggles, or past wounds, my goal is to guide you toward lasting change and a greater sense of well-being.
During our first session, we’ll explore what’s been most challenging for you and discuss your goals for therapy. I’ll also share more about my approach so you have a clear sense of what to expect. It’s a collaborative conversation meant to help us build trust and set the foundation for meaningful work together.
My greatest strengths are helping clients feel truly seen and understood, even when they’ve struggled to open up in the past. I bring warmth, honesty, and curiosity to the work, helping you make sense of your experiences and develop practical ways to cope. Clients often say they leave sessions feeling lighter, more grounded, and clearer about their next steps.
My ideal clients are adults who want to better understand themselves and their relationships. You may be feeling stuck, anxious, or weighed down by the past, but you’re ready to feel more grounded and confident. I work best with clients who are open to reflection and want to build healthier patterns, stronger boundaries, and a deeper sense of self-worth.
I take an eclectic approach, drawing from several evidence-based therapies to fit each client’s unique needs. This allows our work to be flexible and responsive, whether we’re focusing on insight, coping skills, or creating change in daily life.
My work is grounded in a psychodynamic approach, helping clients understand the deeper emotional patterns and relationship dynamics that influence their current struggles. By increasing self-understanding, we can promote lasting emotional growth and change.
