Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York. I received my Masters from the University at Albany (SUNY) and have been practicing for 7 years. I work with adults (18+) on an individual basis who are dealing with depression, anxiety, adjustment, and stress-related disorders. I like to work with the whole person utilizing my background in Medical Social Work to address Medical Comorbidities that impact a person's emotional and mental well-being. Currently able to accommodate phone appointments (No Video) at this time.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with adults for the past 7 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help clients identify and reframe negative thought patterns that impact their well-being. I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where clients can openly express themselves and work towards positive change.
When utilizing a person-centered treatment approach, I focus on creating a supportive and empathetic environment that empowers clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Using unconditional positive regard, active listening, and collaboration to help clients tap into their inner strengths and make meaningful progress toward their goals.
