In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment where you’ll have space to share your story at your own pace. Lorraine will ask thoughtful questions to understand your history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. Together, you’ll begin identifying the therapeutic approaches—such as cognitive‑behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or neurofeedback—that best fit your needs. The session focuses on building comfort, clarity, and a sense of direction for your work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Lorraine’s strengths lie in her deep clinical experience, her ability to tailor treatment to each individual, and her use of a wide range of therapeutic modalities
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Lorraine is especially well‑positioned to support individuals navigating ADHD, trauma, and grief, as well as those seeking a safe, structured space to process life transitions or emotional overwhelm. She works best with clients who are ready to explore their inner world, build healthier patterns, and engage actively in their healing process. Her approach is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‑based methods.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is used for symptoms related to anxiety and behavior modification
Attachment-based
Attachment-based intervention is used to examine bonds developed in early childhood that influence relationships and interactions in adolescence and adulthood.
