New to Grow
I’m a therapist who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where people feel comfortable being themselves. I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative, respectful, and tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges, gain insight, and build practical skills for everyday life. I work with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, and I help them better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns so they can make meaningful changes. I draw from proven therapeutic approaches in a flexible, down-to-earth way, always moving at a pace that feels right for you. Above all, I value authenticity, trust, and compassion in the therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with what matters most to you.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During this session, I’ll ask some questions to better understand what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to get out of our work together. We may talk about your current stressors, symptoms, background, strengths, and any previous experiences with therapy. You are always in control of what you choose to share, and there is no pressure to discuss anything you’re not ready for.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my approach is that I meet clients where they are and tailor therapy to their individual needs. I focus on creating a safe, supportive space while helping clients gain practical tools they can use in everyday life. I use proven methods in a flexible way to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and reactions, and to work through experiences that may be holding them back. Clients often notice they feel more grounded, less overwhelmed, and more confident handling challenges. My goal is to support meaningful, lasting change not just feeling better in the moment, but helping clients build skills and insight they can carry with them beyond therapy.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
If you’re the one who holds it together for everyone else but feels exhausted inside, this space is for you. You may be carrying grief, unspoken loss, or the weight of a life transition that no one else seems to notice. You’re thoughtful, spiritually grounded or seeking, and ready to stop just coping and start healing mind, body, and soul. Here, you don’t have to rush, explain yourself, or be “strong.” You get to be honest, supported, and gently guided back to yourself.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has shown it to be a practical, structured, and collaborative approach that helps clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I also incorporate behavioral strategies, including activity scheduling, behavioral activation, exposure techniques, and skill-building exercises, to help clients translate cognitive insights into meaningful action.
EMDR
In my practice, I use EMDR to help clients access and reprocess distressing memories while maintaining present-moment safety and stabilization. I use EMDR as a trauma-informed and strengths-based modality that promotes healing by helping clients reprocess experiences in a way that reduces distress and enhances self-efficacy.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I regularly incorporate ACT processes such as values clarification, committed action, and self-as-context to help clients identify what matters most to them and translate those values into practical, achievable behavioral steps. Interventions may include experiential exercises, metaphors, mindfulness techniques, and behavioral experiments designed to promote flexibility and choice rather than symptom control.
