About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and New Jersey with a passion for helping individuals heal, grow, and step confidently into the life God created them to live. As both a clinician and an ordained Christian minister, I blend evidence-based therapy with compassionate, faith-centered support. I create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can be honest, feel understood, and explore your story at your own pace. My approach is collaborative, grounded, and culturally sensitive, honoring your identity, your values, and the unique experiences that have shaped you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be calm, conversational, and pressure-free. I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy, what your goals are, and what you’ve been carrying emotionally. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. By the end of our session, we will have: Clarified your immediate concerns Identified your short-term and long-term goals Discussed what support looks like for you Established a plan so you know exactly what to expect moving forward My goal is for you to leave feeling seen, heard, understood, and hopeful.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Warm, faith-integrated approach: I can blend scripture, spiritual guidance, and clinical insight for clients who desire it. Culturally attuned: As a Haitian American woman, I understand cultural nuance, family dynamics, and generational expectations. Strengths-focused: I highlight your gifts, resilience, and abilities—not your shortcomings. Calming presence: Clients often tell me they feel safe, grounded, and more like themselves after our sessions. Holistic and practical: I offer tools you can use immediately—emotion regulation, CBT strategies, mindfulness, and faith-based coping. Judgment-free support: You don’t have to have everything figured out. You just have to show up. I’ll walk with you the rest of the way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are ready for change—even if they aren’t sure where to start. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and faith-related concerns. I especially enjoy supporting: Clients seeking Christian or faith-based counseling Women navigating career, identity, or self-worth challenges First- and second-generation individuals balancing cultural expectations People who desire emotional clarity, boundaries, healing, or renewed confidence Individuals who have been “strong for everyone” and are finally ready to prioritize themselves If you’re looking for a therapist who sees the whole you—mind, body, culture, and spirit—you’re in the right place.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and replace them with healthier, more empowering beliefs. CBT is practical, structured, and goal-oriented—ideal for managing anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. Clients leave each session with tools they can use immediately in real-world situations.

Christian Counseling

As an ordained Christian minister and licensed clinician, I offer counseling that integrates biblical principles with clinical wisdom. I support clients in strengthening their relationship with God, processing challenges through a spiritual lens, and finding healing rooted in faith, scripture, and prayer (if desired). This approach is gentle, non-judgmental, and tailored to your walk with Christ.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach that focuses on your abilities, resilience, and inner resources—not your deficits. Together, we identify what’s already working in your life and build on those strengths to create meaningful change. This modality empowers you to reclaim your confidence, make clear decisions, and move forward with hope. You are more capable than you realize, and therapy becomes a collaborative process that highlights the best in you.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I create a safe and affirming space for clients from diverse cultural, racial, and family backgrounds. As a Haitian American clinician, I understand the importance of identity, generational patterns, heritage, and lived experience. My framework acknowledges the impact of culture on mental health, communication, family expectations, immigration stories, and spiritual beliefs. You will be seen, heard, and understood without having to explain your culture.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-based interventions help clients feel more grounded, centered, and present. Through breathing techniques, grounding exercises, and increased self-awareness, clients learn to manage stress, reduce anxiety, and reconnect with themselves. I help you build habits that strengthen emotional regulation, clarity, and peace in your daily life.
