New to Grow
Reaching out to a therapist can be an overwhelming experience. I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for my clients to process their thoughts and emotions. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to meet my client’s needs. I have a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College and a background in finance and advertising, which helps me understand the pressures of high-stress environments.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a blend of intake and conversation, giving us a chance to begin building a connection. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your story and how I can best support you. You’re encouraged to ask anything you need—this space is for you, and we shape it together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I aim to create a compassionate space where you feel both supported and gently challenged when it serves your growth. I tune in to what you need moment by moment, and together we build a collaborative partnership to guide your healing journey.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Life can bring unexpected challenges, and seeking support is a powerful first step. I will walk alongside you as you explore your experiences and emotions. Together, we’ll navigate life transitions, relationship concerns, grief, or career changes, working collaboratively to recognize patterns, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I like to help clients learn how to reframe from negative thought patterns and behaviors to positive ones. It starts with identifying and exploring what those thought patterns are and then learning how to reframe in a healthier and positive way.
Eclectic
I do not have a one size fits all approach. I like to use various treatment modalities based on my individual client's needs. Every client's needs and are different and I work with them to find the best method of treatment.
Attachment-based
I like to use this method to help my clients understand how their childhood development and upbringing shapes their relationship with themselves and others.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Incorporating mindfulness techniques such as deep breathing, meditation and visual breathing techniques helps my clients stay present and in the moment. This method provides ways to help the client stay grounded.
