New to Grow
I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions, and I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen and supported. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, using evidence-based tools while honoring each person’s unique experiences. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up as they are and move toward meaningful change at their own pace.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your concerns, goals, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together, while also making space for anything you feel comfortable sharing. We’ll move at your pace, and by the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps that feel supportive and manageable.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What often stands out about my work is my ability to balance warmth and understanding with practical, evidence-based tools. I focus on building a strong, trusting relationship while helping clients develop skills they can use outside of sessions. Clients often appreciate my collaborative style and the steady, supportive way we work toward meaningful change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m especially well suited to work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating a period of change. Many of my clients are managing anxiety, stress, low mood, or uncertainty about next steps and are looking for a supportive space to gain clarity and build coping skills. I work well with clients who are open to reflection, practical tools, and making thoughtful changes at a pace that feels right for them.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical strategies that support meaningful change.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing to support clients in exploring ambivalence, strengthening motivation, and making changes that align with their values and goals.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a person-centered approach to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to guide their own growth and healing.
