Hi, I’m Shayna, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Florida with 13+ years of experience supporting women, children, and families. I earned my Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University and have dedicated my career to helping clients find clarity, resilience, and healing.
I specialize in working with women who feel overwhelmed by the demands of motherhood, careers, and the pressure to “hold it all together.” In our sessions, I provide a safe space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and work through stress, trauma, or burnout.
I also work closely with children and families navigating emotional struggles, behavioral challenges, or communication breakdowns. With a trauma-informed approach, I guide parents in understanding behaviors and building strategies that restore connection and peace at home.

My name is Andy and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Navy Veteran with 11+ years of experience. I am a dedicated and compassionate clinician committed to supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. In addition to my therapeutic expertise, I am also fluent in Spanish. As a military veteran, I also know how the military lifestyle affects the family. I have extensive experience in addiction counseling, EMDR therapy, and family counseling.
I would describe myself as a goofy and radically empathetic therapist that struggles with severe ADHD and also anxiety. Not to mention the grief! I am big on being vulnerable myself. We must lead by example. I also am a strong believer in the power of connection. If you cannot connect with your therapist, research says that therapy is not likely to be effective. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship above all else. That is my foundation. That means I pride myself on not being a robot. I cannot believe I have to say this, but many students in therapy have told me that they have had robotic therapist. That is not me. I believe the most powerful therapeutic techniques are empathy and unconditional love, and those are the values I do my best to display consistently.
I currently provide individual counseling to students at Miami Dade College and I have found that I really enjoy working with college students that recently graduated from high school. I find that the world treats them cruelly at such an overwhelming time of their lives and they deserve unconditional love, not tough love.

In my 13 years of experience, I have worked with individuals who are feeling emotionally stuck due to sadness, irritability, relationship issues, anger, financial loss, unresolved trauma, loss of a loved one and/or anxiety. These emotions may lead you into a mental whirlwind which feels chaotic and uncontrollable. But know that you are not alone and there is hope. I will provide you with treatment focused on using evidence-based practices such as Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Based Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. I will engage you in creating a treatment plan that works for you! I will assist you in identifying your interest of focus (personal issues), empower you to process and reach your goals as you achieve emotional stability in therapy.
The path you’ve traveled has formed who you are today. To navigate that journey, you likely developed specific behaviors to help you feel safe, seen, or even just to survive. These patterns were once your necessary protectors, but sometimes they stop working for us as we grow. When circumstances change, our internal responses often do not adapt as quickly. This is because the body and mind can react to anything resembling a past challenge as a means of protection, keeping us stuck in cycles that no longer serve our current life.
My goal is to walk alongside you as we create small, consistent shifts, just 1% at a time, to move from distress toward emotive wellness. Together, we will learn to meet these triggers with curiosity rather than judgment. We will examine the core beliefs that shape your world and begin to lay down firm foundations regarding who you are.
At the heart of this work is a focus on both individual and relational health. We want to cut through the noise of expectations so you can finally embrace your truest self, not just the person you feel expected to be. By identifying how your survival mechanisms once helped you, we can begin to shift those behaviors into tools that foster genuine connection and lasting relief.
Hi, I’m Connie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and current doctoral candidate who supports emerging adults, college students, and their parents, through the many transitions that can feel uncertain, overwhelming, or just plain stuck. I’ve walked this path myself and have done my own therapeutic work, so I truly understand how challenging—and transformative—this process can be.
You'll find therapy with me, compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel more grounded and hopeful for your future. Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath the stress — the thoughts, patterns, and emotions that keep you feeling stuck — and create simple, meaningful steps toward the life you want to live.
You don’t have to have it all figured out — just a willingness to start.

I got into counseling because I love to listen! It was second nature to me, growing up. I also delved into the works of Carl Jung as a teen, and never looked back. Images, metaphors, archetypes and dreams all inform my practice; they help us process and resolve questions.

I wont BS you, therapy is hard. I've been on your side of the screen trying to find a decent therapist before so I personally know how challenging it can be.
Therapy isn’t about perfect answers or forced positivity. It’s about real conversations, unfiltered honesty, and having a space where you can say what’s actually on your mind (yes, including curse words). My goal is to help you navigate the chaos, to be real with you, and to remind you that you don’t have to do it alone. Life is weird, therapy doesn’t have to be. Let’s figure it out together.
As a certified trauma specialist, I have years of experience processing and minimizing symptoms from PTSD. My specialties also include anxiety, depression, OCD, behavioral issues, relationship issues, spiritual abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse, post-partum depression, emotional abuse, and panic attacks.
