New to Grow
I grew up in Florida and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida, followed by my graduate degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University. My clinical focus is in crisis and trauma, and I am passionate about supporting individuals from all ages and backgrounds. I strive to help clients navigate and heal from life experiences that have deeply impacted them, fostering resilience, growth, and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I know that first therapy sessions can feel a little stressful or nerve-wracking, and that’s completely normal. My goal is to make our time together as relaxed and comfortable as possible. We’ll start by chatting a bit so I can learn some background information, then move into your goals and what you’d like to get out of therapy. This helps me understand your past experiences with therapy—if you’ve had any—and helps create a safe and welcoming first session. We’ll move at your pace, and there’s no pressure to share everything right away. This session is really about getting to know each other, answering any questions you have, and seeing if my style feels like a good fit for you. More than anything, I want you to feel a sense of comfort, safety, and grace as we start this journey together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What sets me apart as a therapist is my warm, person-centered approach and my commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. I move at each client’s pace, understanding that being vulnerable and addressing difficult emotions can feel uncomfortable. Drawing on a strength-based and trauma-informed perspective, I help clients recognize their resilience, discover healing within themselves, and work toward personal growth. Having worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, I tailor my approach to meet each person where they are, fostering collaboration, empowerment, and lasting positive change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Having worked with children and adults of all ages, I have developed a passion for engaging with clients who are navigating trauma, struggling with self-esteem, or striving to find healing within themselves. I understand that being vulnerable and exploring uncomfortable emotions can be difficult, so I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, heard, and valued. My goal is to help individuals process their experiences, build resilience, and move toward personal growth and empowerment.
Strength-Based
I have been using this treatment approach since the start of my graduate program, and it truly reflects who I am as a therapist and how I strive to foster healing and growth in my therapeutic space. I view the strength-based model as a “glass half full” perspective—one that highlights resilience, capabilities, and positive qualities rather than focusing solely on problems or deficits. Through this approach, clients are encouraged to recognize their past successes, personal values, and support systems, helping them build confidence and feel empowered to create change.
