About me

As a therapist, I am passionate about providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I recognize that every individual’s story is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet each person’s specific background, strengths, and goals. Drawing from evidence-based practices and a deep sense of empathy, I help individuals, couples, and families work through life’s challenges, build resilience, and foster meaningful change. My focus is on empowering clients to heal, grow, and reconnect with their authentic selves, cultivating greater balance, purpose, and fulfillment in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust and understanding. I’ll take time to learn about you (your background, current concerns, and what led you to seek therapy at this point in your life). Together, we’ll explore what’s been working, what’s been challenging, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This initial session also includes a brief assessment to help me better understand your emotional, mental, and social well-being. More importantly, it’s an open and supportive space where you can share at your own pace. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and confident that you’ve taken the first step toward positive change and personal growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Because every person is unique, I believe no single therapeutic approach can meet all needs. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, allowing me to tailor treatment to each client’s goals, strengths, and life experiences. I focus on helping clients recognize their inner strengths and resilience, guiding them toward greater self-awareness and confidence in navigating life’s challenges. Through collaboration and compassion, I aim to foster personal growth, emotional balance, and lasting positive change, helping each client move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with a diverse range of clients, serving individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My practice includes children, adults, veterans, active-duty military, and others navigating life transitions or struggling with challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and more.”

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I enjoy using the Person-Centered treatment approach because it aligns with my core values as a therapist. This approach allows me to honor my client’s autonomy and unique perspective, helping them recognize their own strengths and capacity for change. I find fulfillment in witnessing clients gain self-awareness and confidence as they begin to trust themselves and their ability to make meaningful choices.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I enjoy using the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach because it provides clients with practical tools and strategies to better understand and manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This approach allows me the opportunity to encourage my clients to recognize the connection between their thinking patterns and emotional responses, helping them develop healthier perspectives and coping skills. I find it rewarding to guide clients in identifying unhelpful beliefs and replacing them with more balanced, realistic thoughts that support positive behavioral change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I enjoy using the Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) approach because it emphasizes strengths, possibilities, and hope. I appreciate that it focuses on what’s working in a client’s life rather than what’s not, which helps create a positive and empowering experience in therapy. Clients often come in feeling overwhelmed by their problems, and I find it meaningful to help them shift their perspective toward identifying small, achievable steps that lead to meaningful change.
