LMHC, 8 years of experience
Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Master’s from Capella University and have been practicing for 8 years. I help everyone from young adults struggling with emerging adult issues to those who are in their 60’s transitioning into retirement. I help adults struggling with depression, anxiety and all mental health issues associated with both.
In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions and then dive in to work on the therapeutic rapport and the specific challenges you’re facing. This is will help me to create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with Anxiety, Depression, Loss and Additions over the last 8 years, I’ve developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I love working with adults who are struggling with Depression, Anxiety, and Loss. My clients are eager to improve, but do not yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious about one environment or all environments of their lives.

I saw her specialties and a lot of what I was looking for she had. I wanted someone I felt I could be comfortable and forward with. I wanted someone who could accept and understand the LGBTQIA community. I believe our therapy session will get even better as I continue with her. It was a lot to unpack my first session and she asked me questions that made me think, that I honestly haven’t even thought about. I think the skills she has will help me find a resolution.

5 minutes into the session I was no longer nervous! Nicole made me feel like I was a normal person, and that I can change and make things better in MY life!

Amazing
Through exercises in the session as well as “homework” exercises outside of sessions, patients/clients are helped to develop coping skills, whereby they can learn to change their own thinking, problematic emotions, and behavior.
