If you’re looking for a therapist who will actually listen—who won’t dismiss your concerns or pathologize your pain—you’re in the right place.
Maybe you're wondering if you have ADHD, autism, or anxiety. Maybe you've been masking for years and don’t know where to start. Maybe you're carrying trauma, grief, or a deep sense that something has always felt a little off. I work with people who’ve spent too long feeling misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or minimized—and are ready for something different.
You don’t need a perfect narrative. You don’t need to show up polished. You don’t even need to be sure what you need yet.
With over 10 years of experience, I specialize in working with neurodivergent and emotionally complex clients—including first responders, trauma survivors, and members of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. I have a Master’s in Clinical Counseling, a Master’s in Forensic Psychology, and I’m currently completing a Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology. I combine clinical insight with curiosity, humor, and a belief in your capacity to grow—even if it’s messy.
As an LMFT, I focus on seeing men and women with anxiety and depression by helping them feel more independent, develop their self confidence, set new boundaries with family, and bring peace back into their daily lives. I am licensed in both Texas and California, and love to see clients remotely for virtual sessions.
In addition to my clinical experience, I also have a background in religious studies and am passionate about seeing clients from various cultural backgrounds, LGBTQ+, and college students. Whether you are starting therapy for the first time, returning, or looking for a better fit, all are welcome.
Hi there, I'm Azucena.

I work with clients with a history of trauma, domestic violence, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (ie. postpartum depression), OCD, and/or life transitions.
I help individuals manage anxiety and avoid burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness and self-care to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself.
Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!

Welcome. I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can be a meaningful and courageous step, and you deserve a space where you feel safe, understood, and accepted just as you are.
I am a first-generation Latina, queer, and bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Southern California. I understand the complexities of navigating multiple intersecting identities and the impact this can have on mental health, relationships, and self-worth. My approach centers on honoring all parts of who you are, creating a supportive and affirming space where your lived experiences are seen, respected, and valued.
From a young age, I’ve been drawn to people—their stories, their emotions, and the quiet places where they carry their pain.
After experiencing my own seasons of grief and change, I realized how powerful it can be to have someone walk beside you through it. Becoming a therapist felt less like a decision and more like a calling to offer the support I once needed myself.
Today, I’m honored to hold space for others as they navigate loss, healing, and the search for themselves again.

Welcome! Taking the step to seek therapy is a courageous move, and it’s a powerful indicator that you’re ready to embrace positive change. This journey can feel daunting, but it’s a testament to your openness and commitment to creating a life filled with hope, fulfillment, and new possibilities.
I specialize in supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, food-related issues, and trauma. I also offer guidance to stressed parents of children with special needs.
My approach is centered around two main goals: first, helping you achieve regulation in your body and nervous system, and second, fostering a compassionate understanding of your mind’s patterns to guide it towards healthier choices. Because mental health is deeply personal, I tailor my approach to what best suits your needs. We might use a top-down approach, focusing on thoughts, beliefs, and values, or a bottom-up approach that listens to your body's sensations and messages. Often, a combination of both methods works best.
I draw from a range of techniques, including Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and various somatic interventions. Together, we’ll explore which methods resonate most with you and create a path forward that aligns with your unique journey.
Like a player who sees their team struggling, no matter what it is you are facing, I'm confidently yelling, "Put me in!" because I love what I do and I am damn good at it. The therapeutic work we do together will not necessarily be easy, but it will be effective and along the journey we will form a genuine bond, laugh together, and get you the relief you seek.
Welcome! ¡Bienvenido!

My goal is to help clients feel heard, empowered, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.
Throughout my life, I have always valued being included, seen, and accepted for exactly who I am as an individual. I am a therapist dedicated to helping you move beyond feeling stuck in familiar, limiting patterns by exploring the deeper, often unconscious forces shaping your life. Drawing on a foundation in depth psychology and advanced training from the Pacifica Graduate Institute, I offer a unique, holistic approach that integrates both evidence-based, solution-oriented tools like CBT with transformative modalities such as Hypnotherapy and EMDR. I hold a Master of Arts in Spiritual and Counseling Psychology and have trained in grief and loss, community mental health, psychiatric settings, and addiction treatment. In my private practice, I am deeply committed to creating a safe, shame-free, and growth-oriented space that honors each client’s unique healing process.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, facing relationship challenges, stuck in cycles of anxiety or depression, or caught in negative patterns, support is here. Seeking therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s a brave and important step toward change that can lead to better life satisfaction. Recognizing you can’t keep doing the same thing over and over is admirable, and having a dedicated support person can help you tap into your inner strengths. Together, we’ll explore new ways to navigate challenges and create positive outcomes. We all carry the answers within us—sometimes it just takes a fresh perspective to see them clearly. Let this be the moment you choose the road to happiness.
My approach is rooted in a CBT framework but is always guided by your personality and needs. You’ll learn tools and techniques tailored to you and your stage of change. With 17 years of experience, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share openly, receive thoughtful feedback (and sometimes homework!), and move past obstacles. In our sessions, you can expect warmth, compassion, and evidence-based strategies to help you break free from the habits holding you back. Sensibility, empathy, and a touch of humor are among my clinical strengths. Working collaboratively, we’ll uncover what’s blocking your progress and build a path toward positive, lasting change. I draw from evidence-based approaches, tailoring each session to fit your unique needs and cultural background.
I help thoughtful, sensitive souls reconnect with themselves—so they can live with more presence, creativity, and ease.
Together, we explore the liminal—the in-between space where you’re no longer who you were and not yet who you’re becoming. We slow down, listen to the body, and follow intuition. We practice voice and choice, shift from self-doubt to expansiveness, and build the capacity to meet life with steadier presence and more freedom.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) currently eligible to see Telehealth clients in California and Florida. I have been practicing Holistic Psychotherapy in my private practice for 7 years specializing in Hypnotherapy and trauma resolution. I assist adults to navigate life transitions such as grief, heartbreak, career changes, healing from trauma or outdated versions of themselves, so they can feel more free and present in everyday life.
I am not taking Couples, but I am taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
Sometimes our own mental health can influence all of our relationships, and you may need coping techniques for anxiety and or depression type symptoms. I will work with you individually to help you gain insight to your own behavior that may be influencing your relationship.
I am here to help beit coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.

The goal in psychotherapy is for you to become your own therapist. We would achieve this in a collaborative and strategic manner. There has always been a need to address our emotional well being but until recent times, this topic is more accepted than ever to discuss. Not only do I help people address their problems, but I also aim to help people be self-actualizing.
I enjoy working collaboratively to develop goals that are realistic, meaningful, and lead to positive change. I view therapy as a journey—one that helps you find steadier footing and supports you as you move along your unique path. Although much of my background has been in public service settings working with severe mental illness, acute crises, and trauma, I welcome concerns of any size. No problem is too small or too overwhelming to bring into therapy. I invite you to give the therapy process a chance to work for you!
I have been in the behavioral health field for more than 30 years and have been licensed since 2012. I have a practical, down-to-Earth style with an open-minded, solution focused approach. There is likely no issue too complicated or difficult for me to work with. I like to establish a clear treatment path with attainable goals, making it easier for you.
I encourage you to give the therapy process a chance to work for you. My goal is to offer steady support and thoughtful guidance as you discover a healing path that truly fits your life. While life can be challenging, you don’t have to navigate it alone—therapy can provide a safe space to find clarity, resilience, and hope.

Many of the women who I work with carry old messages that shaped how they see themselves, their worth and their voice.
I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and experiential approaches that go deeper than just talking about problems. It can seem difficult to believe we can overcome our challenges. We can feel like an instance, situation or moment defines us. It is possible to break free from this thinking.
For several years I have been working with clients to address self-esteem, depression, anxiety, addictions, relationships, job problems and loss. It is rewarding for me to provide hope that distress in these areas can be alleviated. My passion is assisting clients to reach their goals.
In my practice I have noticed EMDR reduce symptoms. EMDR is not only used for trauma, it can be used for dysfunctionally stored information. When using EMDR (tapping) I find change occurs rapidly and my clients are hopeful about moving forward. Clients are able to effectively manage symptoms and make decisions that benefit themselves and those they love.
Through my study of neuroscience, I’ve learned the nervous system can help heal clients. Considering the mind, brain, and body are all connected and influence one another, powerful change can occur during the therapeutic process. The brain is developed in a way with the potential for change in various ways. I use interventions associated with the ability to change the brain, such that can alter brain pathways and networks to help treat trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. These skills will promote healthy recovery in the brains for those experiencing trauma, anxiety, addiction, and depression. Each session is an opportunity to change and grow.
It is unfortunate that we experience difficulties which weigh down our ability to advance in life. It is my desire to work with my clients so they can move past their obstacles. Having personally experienced road blocks of my own, I am empathetic to the struggle of moving past adversity. Let's work together at achieving your goals.
