What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our initial session, we will explore what brings you to therapy and set goals for what you'd like to see improve through our work together. If you are new to therapy, we will go over what to expect in our sessions and discuss any concerns or worries you might have. If you have previous experience with therapy we will discuss what you feel has worked in the past and what hasn't. My main goal in this initial session to make you feel safe and comfortable! I

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based practice that operates off of the premise that our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are interconnected. Together in session we will work to gain awareness of any unhelpful thought patterns (cognitive distortions), problematic behaviors, and any distressing emotions you might experiencing with the ultimate goal of relieving suffering in your life.
