About me

I am a deeply attentive and discerning therapist that understands each person's life unfolds as its own intricate composition - shaped by rhythm , interruption, dissonance, silence, and return. At times the weight of experience can disrupt that internal continuity, leaving a person feeling fragmented, suspended, or estranged from a deeper coherence of their own life. Therapy offers a space to listen closely and differently: to what has become strained or dissonant, to where the tempo has shifted, and to what may be ready to be restored to greater clarity, resonance, and flow. My work is grounded in the belief that healing is both relational and interpretive. Healing calls not only for insight, but for attunement to timing pattern, pacing, and emotional cadence. Each session build on the last guided by what continues to reverberate beneath the surface - an unresolved phrase, a recurring motif, an abrupt change in tempo, a silence that holds more than words. Together, we consider what has been interrupted, what has been carried too long, and what now may be ready to be reworked, integrated, or sustained with greater continuity and intention.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I strive to create a space in which clients feel profoundly met - where complexity can be held with care, where emotional experience can be approached with both tenderness and rigor, and where the potential for change becomes inspiring.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all. I believe that meaningful therapeutic work begins with understanding the whole person--not simply the symptoms that brought you to therapy. When you begin work with me, you can expect an approach that is deeply attuned, intentional, compassionate, and clinically grounded. I strive to create a space in which clients feel profoundly met - where complexity can be heard with care, where emotional experience can be approached with both tenderness and rigor and where change can emerge in ways that feel both organic, sustainable, and deeply true. It is a privilege to accompany people as they come into closer relationship with themselves and begin to experience their lives not simply as something they have endured, but as something that can again hold beauty, coherence, and authorship.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is the person who has survived more than most people know, accomplished more than they give themselves credit for, and is ready to stop merely holding their life together and begin intentionally creating one that actually feels like their own. My ideal client is some one who doesn't necessarily believe they are resilient.. strong enough to have endured.. the ideal client may arrive feeling that they are failing. They may not see their adaptations as resilience. Someone who wishes they can become the person they imagine they are capable of being, but have begun to believe that person exists. They have lost trust in who they thought they were...

My treatment methods

EMDR

Through careful evaluation we first determine whether a client is a candidate for this style of therapy. The main determining factor is the individuals' level of distress tolerance. Moving forward, I meet with the client to identify the problem that is bringing them in and why now. Using the presenting situation, we work together to identify earlier times where that same emotional, cognitive, and or physical disturbance was present. Once the earliest recollection is a conscious memory, we start the mechanical process of EMDR in which bilateral movements stimulate subconscious matter with will reveal themselves as images, thoughts, scents or memories. These segments will be timed systematically at which time, you will have the opportunity to directly change the memory to that it is no longer stored as though it was still happening. Together you will develop the ability to restore the memory adaptively to reflect resolution, safety, and empowerment. Together, we gather all disturbances that are connected and identify which disturbances are independent sources of traumatic experience addressing them accordingly.
