New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with three years of experience helping people navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, and the challenges that come with life. My approach is humanistic and grounded in CBT, while also drawing from my interest in neuroscience, human behavior, and a person-in-environment perspective. I believe who we are and how we respond to life are shaped not only by our thoughts and emotions, but also by our relationships, experiences, and the environments around us. Together, we can explore what may be keeping you stuck, better understand yourself, and work toward meaningful change in a way that feels authentic to you.
I use a Person-Centered approach to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and accepted for who you are. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel safe enough to be open and honest about your experiences. Rather than telling you what you should do, I’ll work alongside you to explore your thoughts, feelings, strengths, and goals, helping you gain insight and trust your ability to make choices that align with the life you want to create.
I use CBT to help you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface when you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or caught in the same patterns. Together, we’ll look at the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be getting in your way and find practical ways to approach them differently. I want you to leave therapy with more than insight. I want you to have real tools you can take with you, so when life gets difficult, you feel better equipped to handle it rather than feeling like you’re starting over each time.
I use Interpersonal Psychotherapy to explore how the relationships in your life can shape the way you feel, think, and respond to challenges. We’ll look at the roles you find yourself taking in your relationships, the patterns that may be creating tension or disconnection, and how your needs are being communicated and understood. Together, we’ll build healthier communication, navigate conflict, and create more fulfilling connections.
I use Trauma-Focused CBT to help you understand how difficult experiences may still be showing up in your life today. We’ll work at a pace that feels safe for you, making space to process what happened while learning practical ways to manage emotions, triggers, and difficult memories. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your story, build trust in yourself, and move forward without letting your past define where you’re headed.
