Hello, my name is Monique and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I earned my Master's Social Work (MSW) from The University Southern California (USC) and have been practicing for over 15 years. I help adult women and men face, overcome and win the internal struggle within themselves. These struggles could be a result of trauma, anxiety, depression etc.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and what is bringing you to therapy. Then we will look at the specific challenges you're facing that is affecting the core area(s) of your life. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strength as a provider is my approach to the therapeutic process and my belief that we are working as a team 50/50. I have been considered an unconventional Therapist because I think outside of the box and challenge my clients to do the same. I've been in this field for over 15 years and understand that there's no one method fits all, so together we work as a team to develop a treatment plan that's effective.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with women and men who are ready to do the work. Those who have come to the conclusion that what they are doing or have been doing is not working and they want the professional support and guidance needed to heal and live their best lives. My clients understanding that although it may not be easy initially, they are willing to do the work so that they can be the best version of themselves.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I do not believe in one treatment method being good fit for all clients. I understand that living a quality life starts with being mentally and emotionally sound which is the foundation of treatment. My approach encompasses treatment methods that will guide clients in moving away from the things that have put them on a mental/emotional pause (sadness, anger, regret, anxiety, trauma, etc) engaging with life.
