I've been a therapist for about eight years with a keen eye for helping others find deeper meaning through their hardships, a calming presence capable of modeling self-regulation, and a reliable ear for those that need to unload their perceived stress across different life chapters. I also offer a modern, diverse openness for cultural understanding as I am a male Latino fluent in Spanish, have Asian ethnicity, and am first-generation American. I can also empathize with perceived struggles as I grew up with low SES, was greatly affected by a custody battle into my teenage years, and became the primary healthcare agent for my father-figure until his passing from cancer during my early twenties. In more recent years, I learned the differences in transitioning from the role of a stepfather to becoming a father of a newborn. Understanding one's own pain from their story is key to learning the balancing act of validating and/or differentiating how to help others process their felt pain. I offer my therapeutic services as your existential teammate who will metaphorically walk by your side along your therapeutic journey.

Hello! I’m Ignacio. I am a therapist (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) based in Monterey, California that truly enjoys helping clients overcome life struggles. While English is my primary language, I also speak Spanish fluently.
I have worked with clients that have different life experiences including depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, recovery from break-ups, identity issues, and other challenges. I am also welcoming to LGBTQIQ folx as an ally and I am gender-affirming. I am bicultural (Mexican-American) and bilingual (Spanish).
The clients I have served in the past have benefited from the way in which I do therapy and help them overcome the difficulties in their lives to help them live and enjoy life more. I use science-backed (EBT) methods to help my clients including CBT, MI, and Mindfulness.
I received Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Dominican University of California. The majority of my training has been in community clinics and hospitals throughout the SF Bay Area including the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) and Kaiser Permanente. I am certified by the American Psychological Association and licensed to practice in the State of California.
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen and understood. I am thoughtful, present, and deeply interested in your story, not just your symptoms. I approach our work together with curiosity, care, and respect for who you are and where you come from.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I also teach and train future mental health professionals, which keeps my work grounded in strong clinical ethics, ongoing learning, and real world application.
Welcome!
My name is Nathan Taylor and I’d like to thank you for taking the time to look over my profile and to learn a little about me as a therapist. Choosing a therapist can be challenging (and maybe even more than a little anxiety provoking!) and it is important to take the time to find someone that you feel may be a good fit to work with towards helping you achieve your goals in therapy. With that in mind, I wanted to share a little about myself and my own path as a therapist. Should you feel like we may be a good fit, I genuinely look forward to meeting and hopefully working with you.
Each of our own personal experiences, dreams, goals, hopes, and needs, both in life and in therapy are unique and individual. You may know exactly what those are for you, or you may feel like you are lost and overwhelmed. Either way, my role is to help you along your own path. To help define what you are struggling with and to take the steps that are needed to work through those struggles and challenges. Whatever your reason is for seeking therapy, know that it can be an incredibly valuable tool towards finding what it is that you are looking for.
I’ve been in the mental health field in one way or another for well over 20 years, working with children, families, couples, and adults, both in the public sector and in private practice. While I started my career working with children in group homes, foster care, and in the legal system, my passion as a therapist has taken me in many directions. I’ve worked for many years as both a clinical supervisor for new and learning therapists and as an upper-level manager/administrator in the public mental health sector. Most recently, in addition to my work in private practice I ran several types of community mental health programs, both outpatient and inpatient, for a large behavioral health company providing mental healthcare to adults. I became a licensed therapist in 2008, yet I’m constantly learning, growing, and developing every day in order to become the best therapist that I can be. It’s my belief that it is an honor and privilege to work with people as a therapist to help each person in the way that they need.
Over the years, I’ve received several advanced trainings and certifications that I’ve pursued to obtain the skill sets needed to specialize in a few areas that I believe are tremendously effective and helpful to those I work with. I’ve found that EMDR, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Hypnotherapy are the types of therapy work and interventions that are not only backed by research as highly effective, but also really resonate with those that I work with. As with anything in therapy, there is no one-size fits all approach, and I find it most valuable to help create a treatment approach in complete collaboration with you.
As an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained therapist, I've found this evidenced-based approach to therapy to be particularly effective with people for a wide variety of reasons, and as such EMDR is my current primary specialty. As EMDR therapy has gained a significant amount of positive attention lately, this may be something you're familiar with, heard about and would like to know more, or it's all together new to you. I'd be more than happy to share additional information with you about EMDR should you be interested in learning more.
Again, thank you for taking the time to learn a bit more about me. You’ve found the courage to get this far, let’s see how much further we can get together!

First of all, I am a father and grandfather. The rest can be summed up, quite aptly, from my 3rd personality test of a similar kind.
I am a “Healer.”
A Healer personality has a high moral standard, believing in treating everyone fairly, equally, and with dignity. The Healer is introspective, sensitive, compassionate, and empathetic - and very approachable.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (1992). I have been a supervising and practicing psychotherapist ever since. I have provided therapeutic services utilizing several different modalities with CBT being most utilized.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working closely with veterans, first responders, and survivors of sexual assault, supporting those who carry both visible and invisible wounds with strength, resilience, and courage.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in practical, evidence-based strategies designed to create meaningful and lasting change. I strive to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and genuinely understood. Together, we will develop practical tools to help restore balance, build confidence, and move forward with greater clarity, purpose, and hope.
I believe every person’s story is unique. That’s why I tailor our work together to honor your individual experiences, strengths, needs, and goals. My goal is to meet you where you are, walk alongside you through the process, and help you create a path toward greater well-being and a more fulfilling life.
I am a LPCC based in California, offering bilingual therapy in English and Spanish. With over ten years of experience, I provide culturally responsive, evidence informed care to adults and parents. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, identity development, and major life transitions, including relationship changes, loss, and shifts in family, work, or personal roles. Many of the individuals I work with feel disconnected from themselves, stuck in familiar relational patterns, or uncertain about how to move forward after a separation or significant life change.
My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. As a Latinx immigrant, I bring a deep understanding of cultural identity and the complexities of navigating multiple cultural contexts into my work. I also draw from my lived experience as a parent to a nonbinary adult, which informs my commitment to gender-affirming and inclusive care. My approach is collaborative and empathetic, focused on helping clients reconnect with themselves, find emotional steadiness, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
Like a player who sees their team struggling, no matter what it is you are facing, I'm confidently yelling, "Put me in!" because I love what I do and I am damn good at it. The therapeutic work we do together will not necessarily be easy, but it will be effective and along the journey we will form a genuine bond, laugh together, and get you the relief you seek.
Hi, I'm Sarah, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and I'm so glad you're here. If you've been carrying the weight of anxiety, burnout, trauma, life transitions, or simply trying to hold everything together for everyone else, you don't have to do it alone. My approach is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you can exhale, be fully yourself, and know you're accepted without judgment. Together, we'll build on your strengths, process what's been weighing you down, and help you move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and authentically yours.
Outside of the therapy room, you'll usually find me cheering at a soccer game, trying a new recipe in the kitchen, or enjoying live music with family and friends. I believe healing happens through connection, and I strive to bring that same authentic, human approach into every session. I'm so glad you're here, and I'd be honored to be part of your journey.
Hi, I'm Melissa. I believe we are already whole—even in the messy, uncertain, beautifully human parts of life. Therapy isn't about fixing you or getting rid of the parts that feel hard; it's about getting curious, understanding yourself more deeply, and creating a life that feels authentic to who you are.
As a neurodivergent-affirming therapist (and fellow neurospicy human), I know what it's like to spend years wondering if you're too much, not enough, or somehow doing life "wrong." My hope is to offer a space where you can set that down for a while. Together, we'll explore your experiences with curiosity instead of judgment, helping you reconnect with yourself and create a life that feels authentic, aligned, and true to you.
I bring warmth, humor, and a little bit of whimsy into the therapy room because healing doesn't have to feel cold or clinical. Some of my favorite moments are when clients begin to trust themselves again, reconnect with the parts of themselves they've hidden away, and remember that they were never broken to begin with.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, with over 5 years of clinical experience supporting clients' mental health. I'm passionate about working with individuals who want to understand themselves on a deeper level, not just manage symptoms but shift the patterns underneath them. I work with adults navigating the emotional challenges that come from ADHD, anxiety, relationship stress, attachment wounds, or trauma. My role is to help you untangle what feels confusing, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward relationships and choices that feel secure and aligned.
My name is Jennifer Macias, LCSW and I specialize in providing therapy to adults experiencing grief and loss. I also support clients experiencing relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and problems with self-esteem or personal growth. I approach therapy with compassion and curiosity. As a Latina of Mexican-American descent, I also see clients who prefer to do sessions in Spanish.
My approach is client-centered and collaborative, rooted in the belief that healing begins by recognizing and building on each person’s unique strengths. Through hope-inducing relationships, goal-oriented work, and compassionate support, I help individuals identify problem areas that may be trauma or may be something they did not know they could change. We give it a felt sense, validate it, understand it and how it fits or doesn't fit in their life and brainstorm methods to help. We can discuss boundaries, self-awareness building skills, and work slowly. We can also gently discuss things that have been traumatic and process moments in small segments that will help build more inner strenghts and resources, beyond trauma, and toward empowered, meaningful change. My strengths are with sensitive, empathic, individuals struggling to find their voice.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I specialize in trauma-informed care, drawing from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), somatic techniques and strength-based approaches to support lasting healing and growth. I am EMDRIA-trained. I also hold certificates in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy utilizing Internal Family Systems Parts Works (inner ecosystem perspectives), and Somatic EMDR Therapy, which allow me to help clients reconnect with their bodies, identify stored trauma, and restore a sense of presence and safety.
Hi I am Kao, I firmly believe that as humans we have an innate desire for growth and balance. Unfortunately, often we physically respond to ingrained negative cues and messages that get stuck in our body. Many times these old cues manifest themselves in our body as anxiety, depression, and other trauma responses. It can feel like we are living life just trying to cope with the loudness of these negative messages. What if instead of just gaining tools to “cope” with these trauma responses, we could eliminate them all together? How might your life look? My hope is that in our work together we will be able to address wounds and move towards healing so that you don’t have to “cope” anymore. Instead you can thrive and have a sense of self-awareness that brings constant peace and clarity.
My name is Jessica Barton-Grimley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy in the state of California. I am committed to fostering a trusting environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions at a pace that feels comfortable to you. Alongside my empathetic and compassionate support, I focus on equipping clients with practical tools and resources to support you in achieving your goals.
I am an LCSW based in the Bay Area who offers compassionate psychotherapy and counseling to people coping with loss, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I have deep expertise in end-of-life navigation, both pragmatically and emotionally, both for clients facing their own end of life, and their family members and caregivers. My approach is relational and trauma-informed, focused on building trust in a supportive and therapeutic environment. I have specific expertise working with school-aged and adolescent children, teens, and young adults, as well as significant experience providing grief and loss counseling to adults of all ages.
Navigating change and loss are some of the most profound challenges we face, and it can feel overwhelming and isolating. I believe that grief is not something to be "fixed" or hurried through, but rather a normal, powerful human response that needs space, patience, and support.
My practice is built on the understanding that every age group expresses and processes loss differently, requiring a highly personalized and creative approach. I support my clients to co-create a safe space to express and process their emotions, build coping skills, and uncover strengths and resilience, to be able to move forward at the pace that is right for them. Grief impacts every aspect of life, and there is no "right" way to grieve. Together, I support my clients to find hope again, understanding that we can move forward without "moving on."

Greetings to All -
I began the journey to become a therapist after leaving the military and battling cancer. I have been seeing clients since 2009 and have worked with children, adults, couples, veterans, and all manner of presenting issues. I specialize in helping people recover from trauma and especially complex or relational trauma. My style is to engage you with thought provoking questions, challenge disempowering thoughts and narratives, bolster your self care and self esteem, and help you value yourself in the same way you would someone you respect and admire.
Hello there, I'm Susie.
I'm a bilingual therapist who speaks English and Spanish. I have specialized training in Art Therapy and EMDR. In my work with individuals and groups, I am compassionate, collaborative, culturally sensitive and creative. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. As humans, we create patterns and behaviors that may no longer be helpful for us when navigating relationships in our life. This can feel stressful, helpless, and anxiety provoking. Having space to acknowledge and talk about what is happening in your life can help relieve the intensity of those feelings and can help create new patterns and behaviors.
Have you been struggling with anxiety and/or lack of direction? Are you critical of yourself and feeling negative and sad? Do you have issues in your past you feel are impacting your present? Are you challenged by a life transition? Change is hard and not always smooth. Sometimes we get in our own way toward the life we want to live. I can help gain perspective and look at whether your thoughts and behaviors are helping you along your path or hindering your way. We can look at how patterns, thoughts and behaviors that might have been adaptive from a less than perfect past might be getting in your way now.
I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral approach to look at thoughts and behaviors and what would serve you best. Incorporating positive psychology, support and compassion you will have assistance on life’s sometimes/occasionally meandering path.
Stephanie has extensive experience with individuals and families utilizing a client centered systemic approach, premiere practices, nutrition, and strength-based interventions. She has great passion for working with women's issues, trauma, and maternal mental health including a strong desire for learning and to continue to build on her expertise by attending webinars, trainings, or courses regularly to enhance her skill set. Stephanie is interested in learning about the most up-to-date interventions for Trauma, Depression, and Anxiety as it pertains to women's issues.
Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I am passionate about helping young adults and adults struggling with difficult- toxic- narcissistic relationships, depression, anxiety, struggling with codependency, domestic abuse, grief and loss, stress, work/school/life transitions, trauma, who have lost connection with themselves, and want to understand their behavior patterns that are set from childhood. I take a holistic, strengths-based framework and find myself blending elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution focused, grief, attachment theory and Brainspotting to help support the mind, body, and spirit.
I am adept at addressing a broad spectrum of life experiences, encompassing childhood trauma, ongoing stressors, and life transitions. I hold a deep appreciation for the integration of mild psychodynamic theory in my practice, as it aids clients in comprehending and recognizing recurring behavioral patterns and negative thought patterns that have their roots in past experiences.
I hold the firm belief that the most significant therapeutic impact arises from the collaborative relationship between the psychotherapist and the client. I strive to create a safe, supportive, respectful, and non-judgmental therapeutic space. Therapy should be a place where every aspect of your being is embraced, welcomed, and valued. I believe in meeting you where you are, tailoring my approach, interventions, and techniques to your unique needs and goals.
I feel honored to walk alongside my clients, to be their guide and hold light in this messy world as they heal, grow, and ultimately reconnect with their mind, body and soul while they recreate a new path for themselves.
Hello and welcome! I’m glad you are here.
A little bit about myself, I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years, and it has been a meaningful journey. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, with a focus on Mental Health. I gained an understanding of the importance of accessible and compassionate care.
As I gained experience, I developed an interest in family systems and decided to further my education by pursing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Since then, I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, families, and children, providing both individual therapy and group facilitation.
In 2020, I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Through this journey, I have had experiences that allowed me to better understand the broader systems that impact people’s lives and to focus on finding collaborative, strength-based solutions that support real, lasting change.
Hello and Welcome!
Are there moments in your life where you wished things could go better? Have you noticed changes in being able to connect with yourself (mind/body) or being able to connect with others (friends, family, new acquaintances)? Have you wondered what's wrong with your self-care? What habits are interfering with leveling up?
I want to start by recognizing the tremendous courage and step forward in seeking therapy. I utilize a whole person, strength based, and compassionate approach to understanding your problems. My goal is to support you by listening and helping you find solutions that will work for you. I utilize a cultural humility and solutions focused approach to ensure that you are in the driver seat and I can be your headlights in reaching that destination. I pull from a variety of evidence-based practices and consider myself eclectic in style. In our sessions, therapy should feel natural, conversational, safe and overall be a space to promote healing. We all need someone to talk to, so let's work together. Tambien hablo Espanol.
I am a husband, father, and twin brother (I have and identical twin sister). I am also a reiki master and hypnotherapist. When I am not conducting psychotherapy (talk therapy), I enjoy conducting past life regressions to help people resolve past life trauma. I also use hypnotherapy to heal trauma. Hypnotherapy is not covered by most insurances and may result in cash pay. I enjoy helping people identify their wants and needs so they can then identify their goals and dreams. I believe we all have had experiences that have stifled our self-confidence which then causes us to doubt our ability. I enjoy helping people discover that part of themselves that is hidden as a result. I believe the world is a collective of people. We need to take care of ourselves, each other, and the animals we share this planet with. I DO NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPT COUPLES FOR MARRIAGE COUNSELING.
My name is Marisol Keegan, LCSW. I provide strength-based, solution-focused trauma psychotherapy for adults (18+). I work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, beliefs, sexual orientations, and value systems, and I approach therapy as a collaborative partnership where we work together to reduce distress and build resilience. As an immigrant and Latina professional, I bring both personal understanding and professional insight to my work.
"You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
-A.A. Milne
We all struggle at times to see our inner strengths and capabilities due to the life experiences which have shaped us. I work in the belief that we each have everything we need to achieve a fulfilled and successful life already present within us; sometimes we just need a little help accessing it. Using a multi-modality approach I encourage my clients to work in the small steps, not the giant leaps, that bring us to self awareness, acceptance, and lasting change.
I began my working career as an EMT in pre-hospital and Emergency Room settings. The desire to further my education and better serve my community led me to pursue becoming an LMFT. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandman University and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a dual emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling from Brandman University. I have additional training and experience in Clinical Pastoral Education from the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base and have worked in both residential treatment and clinical settings. My family history is rooted in both Military and First Responder service therefore I have dedicated a large part of my career as an LMFT to serving these communities and others in trauma recovery.
I have four sons and four grandchildren. In my off time I enjoy spending time in nature, photography, and attending baseball games with my husband of 26 years.
I provide a warm and genuine atmosphere and understand that “one size does not fit all." I'll do my best to meet you where you are and really get to know you and your specific concerns. I treat the whole person to maximize growth.
Do you feel like your 'fight-or-flight' response is stuck on high? I specialize in helping clients understand the unique wiring of ADHD, depressed, and anxious brains. By exploring the science of why you feel so restless, unmotivated, or overwhelmed, we can separate your worth from your symptoms. My goal is to help you stop fighting your brain and start working with it, using evidence-based techniques that actually click for your unique mind.
Therapy shouldn't be another place where you have to perform. In our sessions, fidgeting is encouraged, eye contact is optional, and your unique way of processing the world is celebrated, not 'fixed.' I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for adults with ADHD and anxiety to unmask and find balance. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths to help you navigate a world that wasn't exactly built for minds like yours.
If you're tired of feeling like your brain is a browser with 50 tabs open, you’re in the right place. I help individuals with ADHD, PTSD, depression and anxiety and more move from 'overwhelmed' to 'organized' by building practical toolkits for time management and focus. We won't just talk about your challenges, we'll actively troubleshoot the obstacles keeping you stuck so you can feel more in control of your day-to-day life.

A little about me, personally: I identify as an artist and child of the earth, as diaspora has scattered my ancestors across the Arab world, Africa, Europe, and North America. I am fascinated by intersectionality and the powerful ways that resilience shapes our multi-hyphenate individuality. It is important that I take care of myself so that I can be a pillar of support to my clients. The way that I release painful feelings is by channeling them into creative projects. I also work hard to stay connected to my body and my surroundings. Whether it’s through writing, building clay sculptures, beading, or making collages, self-expression is a healing practice. I encourage everyone to play a little bit!

Trauma, Anxiety, PTSD, and Grief Therapy—Helping You Feel Safe, Empowered, and in Control Again
When you've experienced trauma, it can feel like your mind and body are constantly on alert, making it difficult to trust yourself, connect with others, or find peace in everyday life. You may struggle with anxiety, overwhelming emotions, intrusive memories, grief, self-doubt, or feeling stuck in survival mode. Healing is possible, and you do not have to navigate it alone.

Using a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can process painful experiences without judgment, develop practical coping skills, and build greater emotional resilience. Together, we will work to help you feel more grounded, strengthen your confidence, improve your relationships, and create a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and aligned with your values. My goal is not only to help you manage symptoms but to support lasting healing and personal growth.
