Hi there! I am a therapist that has worked and lived on the east coast and the west coast utilizing my Florida and California license. I have worked with an array of different populations prior to becoming a therapist as I was actively involved with community health organizations, psychiatric hospitals, foster care facilities, domestic violence group homes, adult day care facilities, and crisis and text lines. Through this array of different experiences, I was given the opportunity to explore a wide array of populations and mental health disorders. I personally lost my Mother and brother to suicide and this has given me further insight into the reality of mental health situations and survival.
Saundre has over 15 years of professional counseling experience working in shelters, schools, and mental health clinics. She received a master’s degree in social work from Howard University with a focus on Black mental health and community healing.
Growing up in East Oakland, in a single-parent household quickly taught Saundre about the importance of her own mental health care. Personally experiencing the effects of misogyny, classism and racism pushed her to create safe and humanizing spaces for Black Women to begin their healing journey.
During the pandemic she courageously opened her private practice Queens N' Therapy®, which is specifically tailored to meet the mental health needs of Black Women.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck—and not quite sure why? Maybe you’re juggling school, work, relationships, or a big life transition and are feeling emotionally exhausted or disconnected from yourself. If so, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with teens and young adults. I’ve supported clients in high schools, wilderness therapy programs, and hospital settings. I support teens/young adults to work through anxiety, depression, overwhelm, anger, life transitions, relationship challenges and more.
I enjoy helping teens and young adults (up to approximately 30 years of age) find their own path and believe that everyone has many answers within themselves. Sometimes these answers are hard to find when life gets in the way. With some self reflection, new awareness and processing it's exciting to see how things can begin to change. As a result, we begin to understand what's been holding you back and clear what's been blocking your path forward.

My name is Clara Herrera. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I have my bachelor's degree in Social Ecology from University of California, Irvine. I have my masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Fullerton. I provided community based mental health services to children, adolescences, and adults in Orange County for seven years.
I’m a licensed therapist who helps adults navigate anxiety, overwhelm, life transitions, and the moments where everything feels like “too much.” My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, feel understood, and gain clarity. Together, we focus on building practical tools that support emotional balance, confidence, and a greater sense of control in your everyday life.
I started helping those who are seeking to up-level their experiences and shine as their true and authentic selves in 2019. My journey first started in residential treatment facilities where I held space for those in early recovery from substance use disorders. This population ranged from men's only, women's only and LGBTQ+ Many of these individuals also struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders. I have also had the opportunity to work with adolescents at risk of sex trafficking. This work is extremely rewarding as the clients are at an age where they are most influential and willing.
I am a deeply spiritual person and practice in the study of yoga and meditation and participate in somatic healings such as Kundalini Light Intergration (KALI) and breathworks. I am also a level two Reiki practitioner (training to become a master) and a certified personal trainer. When I am not holding space for healing, I enjoy being in the outdoors, surfing, climbing, reading and cooking nutritious and fun to eat meals. I hope to continue the journey of providing a safe space for individuals where healing can occur for years to come.
I offer sessions both early in the morning (5am - 7am) and later in the evening (6pm - 9pm) to accommodate those who work nine to five or those who just prefer early morning or evening therapy sessions.
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or worn down by stress, trauma, substance-related challenges, or major life transitions. My approach is practical, respectful, and grounded, with a focus on helping you feel understood while building tools that support real, day-to-day change. I bring a steady and structured presence to therapy and offer services in both English and Spanish. My goal is to help you gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and move forward with confidence at a pace that feels right for you.
My primary tool for helping clients with trauma is ImTT or Image Transformation Therapy. ImTT works using imagery and the breath to release triggers that are related to past trauma. Releasing triggers allows you to make choices based on what's happening now not what you body has decided is a threat because of the past. Mindfulness and somatic practices as well as self-care tools are valuable to support the work. They help clients heal and reset their nervous system from the inside out. This helps you choose to be present in the world. It does so in a safe and gentle way. The ability to calm an activated nervous system is one of the most valuable tools you can use for good mental health.
If this speaks to you reach out and schedule a time to meet. I would love to work with you.
Hi there, I’m Michelle,
Have you not felt like yourself lately? Are you struggling to find that happy, healthy, hopeful place in life? Whether it be from relationships, personal, or just life, sometimes we can just feel overwhelmed and out of sync with who we were or who we would like to become.
I am here to help facilitate that change. Together we can target the obstacles in your life and make a plan of action to put you on the right path. By using an integrative approach with effective therapeutic modalities we focus on the whole being to get you in balance.
My style is eclectic utilizing an empathetic position to build rapport while empowering you to become the stronger happier version of self. I combine affirmations and metaphoric narrative to separate you from the problem, allowing you to externalize the issues rather than internalize them.
I will meet you right where you are and provide a safe place for you to thrive and move forward.
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.
I have 16-years of social work experience and 8-years experience as a licensed therapist. It is a privilege to support adults at all stages of recovery or who are trying to improve their relationship to drugs or alcohol. I have worked with patients in; public health hospitals, substance use treatment programs and remotely. In 2021 I trained to support patients in Chronic pain in order to improve their quality of life. I've found that the same tools have also been effective for adults trying to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. I live in the Bay Area and I identify as mixed race.
Sometimes, as adults, we discover that our ability to make decisions; to love someone; to accept the love of another; to feel peace and inner calm; to find the motivation to accomplish goals; to forgive a betrayal; and to experience self-acceptance and confidence can feel limited, creating distress and discomfort. Thus begins the journey of an examined life. When you explore how you operate, what influences your choices, and what has contributed to your experiences, you begin the process of enriching your internal resources. This expansion of resources broadens your choices and options in life and holds the potential for higher functioning and greater happiness.
As a therapist, I provide a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment. I am easy to talk to, interactive, respectfully direct, and mindful of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and sexual orientations. I work collaboratively with my clients to set goals and utilize each individual’s strengths and resources, supporting the discovery of an authentic self that experiences life in a richer and more satisfying way.
Hello! I’m Gloria, a Filipina licensed clinical psychologist originally from Guam, now based in the Bay Area, CA. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and have specialized training in treating depression, anxiety, addiction, and multicultural concerns, areas that continue to guide my work today.
My clinical experience includes working in a variety of settings, where I’ve supported clients through identity exploration, emotional challenges, and major life transitions. Before becoming a psychologist, I spent eight years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a memory care unit, supporting individuals with dementia and their families. That experience shaped my understanding of caregiver stress and inspired my doctoral dissertation, which focused on the emotional impact of caregiving. It also deepened my belief that self-care and balance aren’t luxuries, they’re essential to our well-being.
At the core of my work is the belief that therapy should be a safe, inclusive, and empowering space, one where your full self is welcomed and affirmed. I bring a deep commitment to cultural sensitivity, authenticity, and compassion, drawing from both my professional training and lived experience.
Therapy with me is not just about managing challenges, it’s about growth, healing, and creating a life that feels true to you. I look forward to walking alongside you on that journey.

I was born in the US, but I was raised in Mexico. I lived in Tijuana for 10 years when my parents decided to move us across the border to Chula Vista, California. As a first-generation Mexican-American, I experienced a duality of cultures. I was often judged for either being “not Mexican enough” OR “not American enough.” I also faced enormous pressure to be successful – to justify my parents’ having left their beloved country so my sibling and I could have a better life. This is one of many reasons I decided to follow this path: to help those who feel alone in their journey. That’s how I felt when acculturating to this country.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at San Diego State University (SDSU). I was going to go directly into the workforce and eventually go back for my master’s, but an awesome professor challenged me to apply right away so I wouldn’t lose momentum. So, that’s what I did. I ended up getting my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Southern California. It took some time and courage to finish all my licensing requirements, but it was worth it! I’ve been licensed as a clinical social worker in California since 2019. I am certified in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT.

In our sessions, I offer a grounded, safe space where you can explore your story, develop new tools for growth, and cultivate self-compassion. Establishing rapport is essential in psychotherapy as well as maintaining confidentiality. I often draws on my shared cultural experiences with clients, fostering an environment where openness and vulnerability are encouraged. I am mindful of the cultural nuances in communication styles that may affect trust and disclosure while we work together in therapy to understand the "why" we need therapy to change life patterns that just aren't working anymore.

My background spans community mental health, residential treatment, and crisis intervention, with a focus on addiction recovery, trauma, and complex life transitions. Hello! I am a full-time psychology professor and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in CA. I earned two master's degrees, one in clinical psychology from Pepperdine and the other in social psychology from USC. I also earned a doctorate in social psychology from USC. I treat adults of all ages facing issues with anxiety, depression, relationships, transitions, and substance use.
My name is Deems and I'm an LCSW. I am heavily CBT and DBT based but as with most therapists, I draw from a lot of places depending on the situation. I am casual, chatty, eclectic in both my work and my personal interests, and am big on transparency and accountability. Queer and Poly friendly. Big nerd. Dad. I like art, the gym, reading, and going overboard on a new hobby every 6 months.
I am not taking Couples, but I am taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
Sometimes our own mental health can influence all of our relationships, and you may need coping techniques for anxiety and or depression type symptoms. I will work with you individually to help you gain insight to your own behavior that may be influencing your relationship.
I am here to help beit coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.
Hi, I’m Cynthia.
These are tough times, and many people are struggling. If you’re anxious, down, or facing life transitions or relationship issues, I’ll help you process it all, build coping strategies, and move toward the life you want. I don’t specialize in eating disorders, trauma, autism or substance use.
