Many times clients can lose their faith when encountering difficult times, but the key to faith based therapy is understanding that God uses difficult lessons to help us grow as human beings and fulfill our greater purpose. The first step in healing is learning to forgive yourself for your shortcomings. Learn to give yourself some grace, so you can become the person that your were destined to be. Master the art of turning your pain into purpose through faith.
This modality will help clients understand how their childhood experiences can shape their relationships as adults. Many of the childhood experiences that were a part of their learning stems from how they interacted with their mother or father. These experiences can have a deep impact on them as adults if they don’t gain the self awareness to understand how these unconscious thoughts/feelings translated into certain behaviors that are having a negative affect on daily functioning both in the personal and professional realms of daily life.
