New to Grow
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—whether from past trauma, grief, or relationship challenges—you’re not alone, and change is possible. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating trauma, abuse, and loss. Many of the patterns that feel difficult today once helped you cope or stay safe. In therapy, we’ll work to understand those patterns, build tools for regulation, and create space for healing and growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I use evidence-based practices including EMDR and somatic therapy to help process difficult experiences and support nervous system regulation—so you can feel more grounded, connected, and in control. I bring both professional training and real-life experience, with a background in service, legal, educational, and nonprofit settings.
In our first sessions, we’ll focus on what’s bringing you in and what you’d like to see change. You don’t need to have everything figured out—that’s something we’ll explore together. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, setting goals and adjusting as your needs evolve.
I take a flexible, individualized approach to therapy based on your needs and goals. I integrate a number of evidence-based methods to support both emotional insight and practical change. Our work will focus on helping you understand what you’ve been carrying while also building tools to feel more steady and supported in your daily life. I aim to create a space that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and genuinely supportive.
I work best with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are: Processing trauma, abuse, or grief Feeling stuck or overwhelmed Struggling in relationships or patterns they don’t fully understand Wanting to feel more connected and grounded I have had the privilege of supporting many individuals and families through times of uncertainty, pain, and transition. If you’re ready to begin—or even just considering it—I would be honored to support you.
Eclectic
My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and eclectic, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to meet each individual’s unique needs. After an initial period of history-taking and assessment, we work together to identify meaningful goals and tailor a treatment plan that aligns with each person’s experiences, strengths, and preferences.
EMDR
EMDR is used to help the brain process traumatic memories so they feel less overwhelming and reactive over time. Instead of feeling “stuck” in the present, these experiences can begin to feel more like something in the past. EMDR can be used for both one-time traumatic events and more complex, long-term trauma. Before starting reprocessing, we typically spend time building coping skills and developing resources so you feel supported and prepared.
Somatic
Learning how your mind and body are connected can open the door to things that may not be fully in your awareness. In our work together, I’ll guide you in noticing body sensations and understanding how emotions show up physically. This can be a powerful way to work through anxiety, depression, traumatic memories, and more—helping you feel more grounded, aware, and in control of your responses.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a foundational approach in talk therapy that focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through this work, clients learn to identify and shift patterns of thinking and behavior that may be contributing to distress, creating space for more balanced and adaptive responses.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness is a flexible approach that can be used on its own or alongside other types of therapy. It focuses on gently noticing your thoughts, emotions, and body sensations in the present moment, without judgment. Along with relaxation techniques, mindfulness can help reduce stress and support you in working through a variety of challenges.
